The Problem with the Tigers attack is

Yeah I am yet to see him really fire.

Everyone knows I am not Farah's biggest fan, but as it stands he's a better option at this point, even at his age.

In saying that, trials don't always indicate performance.

This Farah-Liddle stuff is nonsense.

Pretty much everyone can agree that right now, Farah is (injury) fitter, more reliable and more experienced than Liddle. Everyone can also agree that Liddle is a quality long-term hooking option if he can stay on the field.

Up to 2019 Liddle hasn't stayed on the field and previous coaches were subbing in bits-and-pieces options like ET or half-broken ISP hookers like McIlwrick.

So if Farah maybe stifles the play a bit or overplays, sure, that can be the case sometimes, but he's the best available option until Liddle properly takes over.

And what do you know, portents are saying Farah 95% chance of retiring this year anyway.

Why did we score more points with Farah when he came on board last year than before?

Who were the DH's we had earlier Geo - from memory….

Godinet, McIlwrick, Taylor, Reynolds (out of form, out of fittness) and Liddle (carrying shoulder and sternum injuries).

I should have hoped we would have done better with Farah but we could have done a lot better imo.

Maybe this year we will with a fit and injury free Liddle and if he gets a better chance than the lousy 17 minutes he got in the trial when the game had gone.

Rubbish. It definitely improved after Farrah arrived last year. Had he been with the side earlier. I and many others feel we would have made the eight.

Rob and Benji are no longer top tier contracts.

Theyre here to help the younger lads.

Im sure we will see the transition away from them sooner than later

Good post SJ. If we can't generate momentum through the middle then our playmakers have no space or time to create. I would have loved to see Brooks playing behind that Warriors pack on Saturday - he would have carved us up.

Farahs kicking game from dummy half was excellent during the trial.

Everything else was just as pedestrian as usual.

Marshall once again way too sideways - same old.

Give me Liddle, Reynolds, and Brooks with Gamble the option to come in - he was apparently really good for Wests.

Mikaele was awesome and I feel needs a place in the 17 as well - big strong, and always needed three or four to put down.

Mattersons offload to Brooks was a cracker too.

I feel our problem is not enough players in motion. Not making or asking enough questions from the opposition.
Farah or liddle it doesn't matter until we give them options.
Average performance by us on Saturday. But except for a couple of years it's what we have come to expect. People should ask for more from our club. We have finished out of the 8, 16 out of 19 years, some of those years only 14 teams in the comp. If people want to demand more good on them. If you are happy with another average performance well that's your prerogative. But this club has to start showing something.

Missed the top eight 16 times in 19 seasons. Wow! Never looked at it like that. Perennial losing culture hey. Something has to give soon.

Throw liddle in the deep end. Start him and if we lose games then we lose. He won't get better unless he learns. We have wrapped him in cotton wool long enough. I'd rather lose with young guys learning than see the same old garbage from last year and lose.
Robbie ISP captain/coach/halfback/hooker.

Dripping with irony this.

Please go on about how Jacob Liddle has carved up the NRL. Would love to hear about it.

No thats right he hasnt!

He has been a bit player for a little too long now.

If he can stay fit he will get there no doubt but the people looking to him as the savior are the same ones who would like to remove Farah from the team.

This is a good point. We really lacked players in motion. We have a habit of doing this, looking uninterested and one out. Neither Farah nor Liddle will be at their best while we play like that.

Liddle is our no 9 if his body is upto it and RF is his guide.

I'm not suggesting this should happen but our prob is the 6 and I would rather Liddell at 6 instead of benji and Reynolds. Faster and straighter than both Reynolds and benji. Can step, jink and possibly one of the few that can keep peace with brooks. Can pass left and right and won't have to make as many tackles. Sure different defending out wide but would have better lateral movement than both our current options.

I’m neither here nor there on Liddle. But I’d have thought you’d be the last one to throw stones at those who build up unproven first graders, the way you have relentlessly pumped up Gambles tyres for the last 12 months, and taken it as a personal insult anytime someone doesn’t share your opinion of the kid.
