The Robbie Farah jibe that led to the rift with Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor

Come on girls - don't get your knickers in a knot.
It's a filler piece, however most of you are neglecting the small, but only part, that said something new - and that was about what Moses and Brooks manager said .
If his name was Ayoub you'd be all over it.

That bit is being neglected because it does not fit the JT love brigade, Farah and JT need to go for the good of the club. And if that helps us retain our young stars all the better, just get it done Pascoe.

The sooner Farah is gone the better. Make no mistake, Farah will be going.

:deadhorse:

Whether Farah is here or not won't make JT a good coach. He's a tool with no man management skills, no accountability with team selections and a dead set gibberer.

Gutter journalism waiting till game day to print these kinds of articles.

Another case of gutter journalism
Just because it dares to have critism of our latest koala bear in it. As much chance of being correct as anything written here

Gutter journalism for the timing of the article (which i've already stated), not defending the content. How quick you are to jump on the defensive though

If they don't renew JTs contract I'm fine with it but don't sack him to throw Todd in ffs.
That will only do more damage long term.
See out JT and make it attractive for a good coach to even be attracted to coach us.

If you keep tossing them out you will keep getting duds or wannabe coaches.

I'm glad you posted it first. A not too subtle message.

Yeah because that piece is so inconsistent with causing trouble for Taylor that it must clearly have come from a different source to the rest of the article…

Taylor doesn't need help to cause trouble, bit like Farah in that regard, that is why both need to go, and if that article is correct that will help us sign our young stars, win, win and win. 😛ray:

Really? You want Todd Payten as coach? And you want Todd Payten to get the job of coach by those means? In the long run I think you'll find that the club would be much better off keeping power out of the hands of players and player managers.

October 2014, Taylor has not even got the seat warm and asks Farah to consider missing an international match for off season surgery, not an unusual request. Coaches always ask players to miss international matches, the taboo is to not ask a player to miss SOO.

Anyway, brand new coach and Farah can start clean after all the "Potter can't coach" stuff with Gordan Tallis and Farah retorts with that one line that screams of disrespect? Rubbish, I will bet one year of Robbie's salary that he never responded with that line.

Sounds like Robbie _wished_ he said that one liner and has a massive dose of regret.

My post was after yours, do you think that the "good " journo's would have cleared it with the to see if it was ok, I'll repeat for those quick to critise journo's
If it was a favourable story about The "coach", you'd be lapping it up

A coach denying a Kangaroo jumper to his player is selfish.

Where is the evidence ? Sam Ayoub Propaganda Machine at it again.
Funny it has taken so long to surface.

Absolute rubbish.. Who makes this stuff up? And Payten, lol how convenient. "And they'd have a better chance of staying, um, if the Tigers brought back Benji and Heighno and made Robbie assistant coach" :unamused:

How do you know it's rubbish . Just assuming , eh ????
Can you tell us your source that has labelled it as rubbish, that is , if you have one.

@TigerWoods said:
Obviously Sam Ayoub got his journalist mate to write the article. It'd been 5 minutes without a Farah story being in the newspaper so he had to get something written.
I don't care who's right and who's wrong. I'm sick of hearing about it. I just want to watch football.

Don't read it then.

Let's do some investigation into this article.

1\. There must be a source. Even the Smellograph aren't stupid enough to risk a law suit by making something up. How credible is this source? Probably not very.
2\. No direct quotes, only second-hand material from a "source".
3\. The crap unrelated topic added onto the end to divert attention from the main subject is a technique taught in journalism school to reinforce whatever point you are trying to make.

I would rather Cleary or Toovey, but if that is what it takes to oust Taylor then so be it.

The interesting part if true is moses and brooks re-signing. They only extended for one year, and whether they like or hate farah he wont be here in 2018\. For all we no, they prefer playing without Farah, but it also seems they are waiting to see who is going to be the coach. For senior management pascoe anc oneil to let the farah saga happen so late in the season tells me he is doing their dirty work for them and they will chuck him under a bus pretty soon, with a new coach. That way they kill 2 birds with one stone, Farah and taylor gone in 2017.

Regardless of the timing of article and who's side your on, it's a cracker of a line. Right up there with Steve Waugh's "you've just dropped the World Cup" sledge to Herschelle Gibbs after he dropped a sitter in '99.

Cleary for coach ? Not tough enough for mine. And at a million dollars!! No thanks!
