all excitement all attack the only team red hot right now, every other team is struggling right now.

think about it, the knights were down 52 -0 2 weeks ago after 50 mins, now they are flogging the team that everyone was picking for the GF this week, is our comp that bad and weak?

Dude no one can touch 05! that was special.
Its just a very inconcsistent competition atm, all teams are hot and cold which in a way is good because no one has any idea who will win the comp. The Roosters are the ones that are showing the most potential right now though🙂

the quality of the comp was shot as soon as storm were ousted and denied from playing out the season for points
plus..it doesnt help that the tigers are badly out of form right now, and from the point of view of a tigers fan every other team seems to be in form

not the way I see it, where playing as good as any other team in the comp right now except for the roosters

Dragons out of form
Panthers out of form
Roosters only red hot team
Manly as shown tonight back to out of form
Titans their just like us all their wins are close
Warriors To inconsistant
Broncos same as warriors

I've thought the Roosters were going to win the comp since they beat us in Round 2 tbh. I looked pretty embaressed after a couple of months but now I feel very powerful indeed.

We had a new style in 2005, where we worked the edges, quick dummy half scoots, surrendering in tackles, decoy runners. These were new concepts in the game and we used them beautifully.

The Roosters, imo, are doing a similar thing with a 3-pronged playmaker attack. Pearce and Carney are by far the best halves combination in the comp, and add to that the fact that Anasta can also organise things is very scary. Unlike other teams where if you shut down one playmaker it seems there attack goes wondering, you can't do that with the Roosters.

Could well revolutionaise the way teams pick Locks.

The Rorters will have nothing on us when our 1, 6, 7 & 9 all fire.

You know what CB…I would even take Farah and Marshall....at the same time....

Look OUT....

I agree, that's all it would take.

And, the Roosters will falter this week or the next and someone else will look the goods. Momentum and field position win most games and these are heavily influenced by ref decisions and luck. We are one of the few teams regularly capable of scoring against the run of play and from poor field position. We are a far better team than the Roosters, should have beaten them last time we met.

I still think they will win the comp, but geez. To win 5 in a row, including crushing an in-form Parra side away to losing to Cronulla 2 weeks later.

Weird, weird, weird comp this year.

Carney - Pearce combination, for mine, will go down as one of the most dominative in the history of the competition, granted they both stay injury free the next couple of years. It's just plain sexy to watch.

Right now it seems the Roosters are the only team that want to win the comp.

And just like that, this comment looks ridiculous. This is a very poor standard competition, 3.75 roundss out from the finals, and no team has really stepped it up as though they want to win this bad boy. Could go to the team who doesn't deserve it the least.

You don't think they will? They have been playing together for all of 8 months, and look what they've done to a team that came last in 2009.

Well if we (Wests Tigers) won the competition in the year of the Rooster (2005).
It is evident the Roosters will do vice versa in the year of the Tigers!
