The run home 2018

I'd prefer to play the Saints at the back end of the season than in the first few rounds. Hopefully they get more busted up during SOO.

The run home would be great if we can compete in each game , no blow outs , just be competative and show some heart for the jumper , if we do get in the 8 , it would be a good solid year leading into next season , so far I'm pretty happy , fingers crossed the boys dig deep each game

Dragons are starting to come back to the field a little and have a hard SOO campaign to contend with. We are probably a chance of one win against them, but hard to see them worrying Souths. Canberra,Dogs,Coast,Newcastle and Manly are all beatable

As the old cliche goes its "one game at a time" Souths and Dragons are going good at the moment but thats now lets see a few weeks down the track. If we beat the Rorters this week that 4 wins against teams everyone had in there 8 and those teams are more than even money chance against the sides they play each week after this weekend we should cheer for the Rorters and Storm to go through undefeated and we win 70% of our remaining games we should be good.

I hope that the roosters and storm lose every game they play.

It’s a 4 point drop from 9th to 10th. The bigger question is can anyone see any team from 10th down forcing their way in? I’d say Manly and that’s it. Rest are gone.

Don't know why , but I just can't right the Cowboys off

Something tells me they are about to click , few signs in their last two games that they are close to turning the corner

I think because of the way the cowboys did a Steven Bradbury last year from 8th place might be the reason. but I think they are done.

Manly are to inconsistent I really don't know what to think of them 1 week they look like a wooden spoon team then another week look like a top 4 team. if that team gets a winning streak near the end of the year look at.

Manly are missing the Trbojevics boys this weekend , won't be surprised if the Cows get them tomorrow

The Broncos have a hard draw for the rest of the season i have not check the raiders yet maybe someone can post the other teams run home and predict the outcome

So we have 9 games to go. Currently we are on 14 points + bye coming up = 16 points.

We’ll need 28 to make finals. Therefore we need 6 wins from 9 games.

MUST beat Titans, Bulldogs, Eagles, Knights.

Then we need two wins from games against dragons (x2), Souths (x2) and Canberra.

Hmmm

Yeah I don't like our chances…..we needed to beat Canberra last week.

I thought at the start of the Season, if we finished 10th-12th, it would be an improvement over last year.

Even with our two signings I can only see three wins max and they are 50/50 games. We could not handle Canberra and Souths and the Dragons are a way better outfits than Canberra and the Titians are always a battle for us.

Lets hope we are a completely different side with a real 1 and 9

Having a proper/true number 9 is going to help us immensely. Having Farah in will allow our numbers 6 and 7 to play a lot more freely, just need our 1 combining in perfectly asap.

Pretty confident that we can get the points against the Titans, Knights, Manly and Dogs .. that will give us 8 more pts, so with the bye we are on 16 pts … plus the 8 pts = 24pts (math was never my strong point at skool .. lol). So we have to sneak another 4 points out of these 5 games .. Souths x2, Dragons x2, and Raiders.

So looking at the teams at the bottom of the 8, who are going to drop out??? Looking at their draw and considering they are 4 points in front of us

think its past us now but league is such a momentum game, particuarly at the back end of the season.

beating the titans is non negotiable, we then have a bye. with a bit of luck brisbane slip up against the raiders or titans (will be missing origin players against titans) and then all of a sudden we're 1 win off 8th. having a look at the table/draw i dont think cronulla are guarenteed a spot either.

we play saints after origin 3, good chance they rest a few players.

the longer we stay within a realistic chance (not talking mathematical) the more the players will warm to it and the fans get behind them.

We will be lucky my to win 4 more games with our draw. Best bet is to hold onto 9th which would be a respectable season with this squad.

ROUND 24 AUGUST 23, THU 7:50PM Wests Tigers v Sea Eagles @ Campbelltown Stadium

Round 25 Tigers vs Rabbits

6 wins minimum to make semis, 7 would definitely get you there. Anyone less than 10 points ladder wise, have to win 8-9 out of 12 to get there which is unrealistic with how those sides are playing.

Starting with round 16, I can only see us possibly winnning 3 0f those games.
even with Robbie back in the tream,
I think well play a lot better with him there, but our attack will have to get a lot better for us to beat those teams.
But stranger things have happened+
