I'm not sure if we can make the 8 but I think after looking at last nights game we can upset a few on the way to,the end of this season if we get Teddy back and have a injury free run the like of Woods , Teddy , Farrah , Ballin , Taylor , Grant , can steer us along its up to the young guys to lift to their best and play hard , JAC , JJ , Mosses and Brooks put in we will be fine

Taylor as a coach is growing on me i think he could become a good coach i think his biggest weakness is not understanding his players strengths and weakness he has to coach to the team he has NOT coach to the team he thinks he has :bulb: the strength of his players he has to understand better

But i do think this year has been a let down so far with games against the Sharks Storm and Knights should have won every body talks about poor Penrith losing close games but what about the Tigers i think we can finish between 7th and 9th also the Titans game they should have won just lost there way

I can honestly say the Tigers do the most stupid plays of all teams in the NRL they self sabotage and that is because the players have to learn how to win its easy for a young player to come on in a winning team they learn from older players who know how to win and go with the flow build confidence but who can they learn from at the Tigers all the top clubs have a few hard nuts who dont give up and bleed for the players around them i think its great they have Grant Ballin and Taylor on board now will go along way

Good post. I think JT is a massive risk as a coach. He does so many stupid things. At the same time I think he gets some things right and if he focussed on winning games and getting the most out of his players I think he could actually be a decent coach.

Going by Taylor's press conference, they really prepared well last week. It was a solid performance last night and there may be some belief growing in the squad.

It's a really ordinary nrl season this year. The disparity of the top 3-4 teams to the rest is massive. You don't have to be crash hot this year to make the finals.

I'm with ya happy. We have lost 2 or 3 games already because of our rubbish goal kickers. We finally have one who us starting to hit them well and everyone wants him dropped.

I like Addo-Carr but Rankin needs to stay. Nice to have competition for spots for a change though.

It has to be Rankin that goes. Nofo has some defensive problems but he is an extra forward for us out there and has to stay. The halves also have a bunch of issues but we need to give them more time and more chances assuming that they both stay on with the club.

Rankin is the out man out.

Leave Kev in the centres, drop Nofo and play Rankin on the wing.

Nah I disagree, Nofo was good last night. He offers a lot more than Rankin on the wing in regards to doing the dirty work coming out of our own end… Moving Rankin to the centres and dropping Kev is the way to go as you aren't losing anything dropping Kev for Rankin and you keep Nofo's metres from dummy half he makes.

In all fairness to Rankins goal kicking % you've stated he only missed 1 goal last week and 1 again this week he is improving so he's obviously working hard on it.

You have the right to your opinion , but you need to suggest who will kick goals if Rankin doesn't and Moses is out of the question with his groin

If we play against a side who has a good goal kicker (Thurston for instance) and they score 24 points it will mean we might need an extra two tries to win a game

That is purely mental , don't you think ??

If Ado Carr does go to the Storm (hope he doesn't of course) then we need to find an top line Goalkicker. As good as the recruitment has been, This wasn't really addressed since Pat Attack left for Europe.
