farah and marshall..

farah can get away with it because he has a great work rate in defence.
marshall gets away with it because of his reputation.

**both these guys need to pull there fingers out in attack if we are to have any chance this season.**

Funny, because I think Farahs issues decision wise hurt us as a whole, but his work rate have been covering for the way he ham-strings the team as a unit for a long time…. Too many have the blinkers on.

not looking good this year with all the floggings we have copped so far…

Feel for potter i really do he has to make some hard decisions this year

Farah only looks bad when he is forced to pull plays out of behind because nobody else has a damn clue. How many dummy halves are the primary attacking playmakers in their team? One, Robbie Farah. And it's not a good thing either. He needs more options. He's an incredible player in career best form and it's being wasted in a side that frankly is NSW cup standard right now.

Agree mate and now is the time he has to start making those decisions. His got to stamp his authority if Benji has to play state cup well so be it. Whatever it takes if Potter does not make the decisions you talk about I do fear for his future as NRL coach will be short lived.A pity it would be seems to have the goods just needs the balls

he doesnt direct the forwards well enough. the one out plays are predictable. defences rush up (like tonight) and stop us making metres. on another note the dogs were offside on the flanks all night tonight - went completely un noticed by the refs.

Robbie has to realise that he cannot do it alone, I believe he is better all around than Can Smith, but needs the support, support which Benji cannot give. If he is serious, he will school someone to fill the void, but I fear the beast inside that drives him to be so competetive is the same monster that is unable to give up any control.

If he didnt have to force his hand every play, he could sell the bluff so much better.

Edit: ^^

He does so man. Our pigs do well. And he could spend more time strategically marching us downfield if he didn't have to worry about calling attacking plays too.

Maybe Marchall/Farah should be co-captains and co-coaches.

good idea, would be a solid ego boost for both

that was sarcasm btw, not sure if yours was sarcasm as well though :L

Thats right. Sure there may be some ego present with the way Rob and Benj control things but this is hardly their fault. They have spent the majority of their careers having to do this as they have only played 3 year maximum with a halfback who can play the game. Robbie is a hooker who is forced to take on some half duties whilst Benj is in the same boat.

We need to cut all the injury riddled players from the squad i.e. Lawrence, Galloway, Moltzen, Tuqiri etc…and use that money to poach a genuine half from someone else...we will pay overs for them but who cares? It just has to happen.

Someone on the up not someone on the down please. No more retirement home buys.

I disagree. Some of his service was terrible last night. I don't know how many times I saw Benji catch the ball behind him or high or whatever.

Great player but he needs to get that part of his game right.

From what I have seen this year Potter has completely shied away from the hard decisions and his team selection decisions have been way off the mark. As we get into the middle of the season he hasn't shown anything so far to inspire either the players or the fans.

I think that needs to be the opposite… Farah & Marshall probably need to pull there heads in and learn to play within a structure rather than taking control every bloody time a ball is played!

Like, what was the game plan last night? Regardless, it was bloody terrible and needs to be thrown in the rubbish!

100% agree, currently he is our only effective playmaker.

It certainly was meant it to be sarcastic. These two think the whole team is centred around them and the remaining 11 on the field don't even rate. They are the most experienced in the team but it all counts for nothing when there is no team work.

Unfortunately , at present , that isn't far off the mark.
