Shooting from both ends like a star for a while there.
Fortunately you can get anything you want from a chemist there - mate went down to get me broad spectrum antibiotics, stoppers and anti-nauseau pills. Had me basically fixed up 4 hours after I took the first lot.

Got back home yesterday and just found out one of the mates from the trip that I spent 6 hours in the car with has covid. Fingers crossed I haven't picked that up too.

A few things to sort out here before I start editing video. Need to gat mates pictures and videos too to add to those but that may not be so soon.

I feel for ya Mikey. I backpacked throughout India/sub continent for 12 months in the 80s. Meds werent the easiest to come by back then. Spent a lot of that time searching more for dunnies than sites to see. I lost 15kg in a 2 week period and thought I was a goner a few times over the first few months until i developed a better iron gut. Wouldn't change any of it though....... second thoughts, maybe i would have packed a few more undies.

Would have been a tough gig back then.

I was supposed to meet mates in New Delhi in early 82 to buy some old Brit dungas to ride north but didn't hear from them in time so ended up going to Germany and bought my first beemer there - a 77 R100/7.
From what I have heard not easy to get around then. A guy I know was one of the first to get into Leh / Ladakh when it opened up in the 70s - took him 3 weeks to get there from Srinagar.
