Things that make you laugh!! 😂

With the sad passing of Gary Leo, I though that a story I heard surrounding the famous 1969 GF win by Balmain against a short 'odds-on' favourite in South Sydney, was probably worthy of a re-telling. As many of you probably know, the Balmain coach - Leo Nosworthy - had a plan to disrupt the Souths game by having his players go down 'injured' whenever Souths threatened to get on a roll. (Back in those days, and injury automatically resulted in a time off being blown).
The game plan worked to perfection for the first half. Whenever Souths started to build momentum, a Balmain player would cop an 'injury' and the momentum was halted.
As the players were returning to the field for the second half, and before the ball was kicked off, one of the Balmain youngsters, I think it may have been Keith Outten went down with a cramp. As one of the more senior players ran passed him, he looked down and yelled "not yet you idiot".
Classic!

Hey mate, watched the rest of the video. Also mods if you want to delete this go for it. I just wanted to respond to Odessa asking me to give the video a watch. I don't want to turn this into a lengthy discussion that gets a thread closed but, will acknowledge he did touch on the fall of the coalition in the last couple minutes.
He to some extent and one of the comments pointed out the very real shift left from all major political parties leaving heavy rights looking for an alternative.
But it was an excessively right take on the scenario hitting all the usual points the left get bashed for but not actually suggesting what the alternative would be. Additionally, if you look at his talking points, his view on each point and compare that to the one nation website the whole video was essentially a one nation advert.
It is easy to look at something like current fuel prices and blame the government for not having a greater surplus (it wouldn't change the actual price and arguable if it would change the shortages) or electric prices and blame it on going green without addressing the actual concerns of aging power stations.
There was of course the Common problems that everyone complains about such as Government spending and left created problems such as the fraud of the NDIS. Not saying Labour shouldn't be held to account for these things and perhaps this bloke in longer videos does discuss it in a more open and detailed way but this video does not. It was deliberately emotive and short on detail or any objectivity.
