This Day Forward

4 months or so out from the start of this season and Fonua jokes that fitness isnt his strong point…4 months later and his fitness wasn't up to 1st grade standard. Disappointing lack of effort by him.
Can somebody organize a set of keys for MWZ to get into his own house?

Good insight into the club's preseason.
Could have done without the segment with the lounge tho..

"These guys weren't just great Rugby League players - they were tough, hard & uncompromising. They knew how to step outside the comfort zone in training and playing! Yet, you would not find greater human beaings. Lessons in life I learnt from them - Respect, Loyalty, Team Spirit and treating others as equals. GREAT Club - GREAT guys! (and some of that $925mil might have bought some chairs for the front rows to sit on and maybe even a club shirt for the trainer…)"

Clear winners of the Your Club Competition - the Western Suburbs Magpies with over 300 votes, the Bulldogs, Storm, Sea-Eagles and Roosters also polled well. So Magpie supporters for the next week your boys from 1976 will grace our main timeline pic - congratulations.

The above is a post from the Sandhill Warrior himself on Facebook from a few years ago about those blokes in that exact picture some of you are talking about. He says it's from 1976 also, so you were correct. The pic is included in this post where is says "image may contain 14 people" but sorry didn't know how to copy it in here.

 Yep.
Wait until next week when it shows the fellas purchasing Gatorade and strapping tape on the clubs credit card….....Bwaiif will be ropeable.

Watching this now via the Official WT website.

Great initiative that is really successful at re engaging ,e as a long time fan who as lowered expectations in the last few years (Not lowered commitment to my club).

The one thing that really jumps out at me is how poor and dilapidated everything looks, The rooms, the Sink, the whiteboard the blinds on the door when I freeze at 6:36 mark.

Maybe Im picky, My home is virtually spotless all the time even with a family of 7, When we are having guests around we make sure things are perfect.

Concord office Looks depressing bordering on derelict.

Just watched the final episode- man I’m 51 and was ready to play as they ran out!! Great insight and a fantastic way to bring fans into the inner sanctum.

The production quality was pretty darn good for probably an inhouse job. Looks similar to the stuff their current videographer produces. Very impressed.

Did enjoy it ,but was surprised when the started really focussing on Jesse Sue on the sandhills

Yes, there must have been some debate about including that footage. I hope Sue was alright about it.

Just noticed Episode 1 is up in full on the WestsTigers website

I hope everyone that started saying "fluff piece" about this doco can appreciate the effort the club has put in.

I was somewhat surprised they showed Jesse Sue struggling to do the sand warrior in Ep 1, but then to voluntarily show the Moses Suli process and interview with Lee Hagipantelis in Ep 3 was surprising and commendable.

Fans have often talked about having our own narrative out in public, to cut out some of the BS that appears in the media and run a tight ship (information-wise) and this is a perfect example of how to produce unique material that really engages the fans.

TBH I expect even if I wasn't a Tigers supporter I'd watch this doco with great interest, because it's not a completely sanitised fluff version of how a club might want to portray itself.

Very impressed with 1 episode to go, has greatly surpassed my expectations.

Only question is - will they do this every year? Fans are going to have expectations in pre-season 2019!!!

Dan Talintyre must read the forum, as he Tweeted it's "not a Fluff piece" after members of the Forum were post "more Fluff".
I wonder who else at the club browses here?

Noffa looked absolutely gutted not to be in the round 1 team. Really hope he has the game of his career this week, cos you can tell how much this team means to him.

Only just got to watch E1 now.(It's been a hard slog at work the last month or so) absolutely stoked with this insight into the club . We'll do to all involved. So good .
