Hey guys (and girls)! First post here.
I’m a regular on the Wests Tigers Facebook pages and used to post a fair bit on the NRLTalk forums years ago.
This is a winnable game - absolutely. Best time to face a favourite is very early in the season, before any side has truly clicked into gear.
I think the key for us is to move the big Roosters pack around. Long kicking game and kick chase have to be on song from the opening minute to the 80th. As always, no silly penalties and errors.
If we try and ‘out-muscle’ he Roosters, we will lose. Similarly, if we try and run around them all game, we will lose. Match their forwards, keep the scoreboard tight - make the Roosters nervous.
