Maybe we have over achieved this year so far. Are we really any better than the other teams in the bottom 8?

We are 2 points ahead of the Warriors and Dragons who have really struggled all year. We can compete with top 8 teams, but cant beat them. We don't have a consistent halves combination. We don't have a goal kicker. The best player we have is on loan to us and can't be part of our long term plans. Possibly one of the best teams we could name tonight was dominated by a team that has been largely thrown together this week so they can stay in the comp. Two of the four wins the tigers have had are against the teams running last and second last. Tigers led the 13th placed Cowboys 34 nil before letting them score four tries in the second half.

Its disappointing and we have seen it happen again and again but a 9th, 10th or 11th place finish might be the absolute best we can get from this season.

Watching that at the ground you could almost feel them energy evaporate after the first 15 minutes. It was evident that we weren’t in the game. Sitting there with my brother we could predict what would happen because we’d seen it so many times:
Miss easy goals
Let in soft tries
Score a couple early and think that’s enough
Lazy defence in the middle
Give away soft penalties with dumb play
Pass the ball to players under pressure

Every time you think this club is turning a corner they play a game like that just to remind you who they really are

I disagree mate. It is our vets who are non winners. The same core year after year.

At this point Madge would be best off sacking all the vets, turning the team over to the kids and saying 'learn how win'

Because they won't learn from Benji, Lawry and Mbye.

I agree, we have no leaders, Benji is no leader despite what the media try tell you, Rowdy he cracked under pressure, we need to just move on from them. And MBye is not a captains backside, Put Doueihi to 6, Brooks back at 7, our new boy can have a crack at 1, things have to change

Agree mate. Blore was hooked. We all blew smoke up his ass last week, and this week Madge had to pull him only 12 minutes into the second half cause his defence was like a sieve.

It’s a rubbish team of weak personalities and players who can’t get first grade anywhere else.

Only hope we have of making finals is a couple of top shelf juniors come through at the same time for a couple of years before they see the light and leave.

Mbye Lawry Benji gone for good...they have been serial losers in these games forever and we can't have it rub off on the kids. Mbye is the kids captain and is a terrible, passive, non winner. We risk that rubbing off. Benji and Lawry talk the talk, but fail in these games every single year. They can't be allowed to hurt the culture any more. Sad, but reality.
