Well when you have commentators after 13 yrs still refer to the team as Balmain, and not just once, but 3 or 4 times in a broadcast, its quite clear we have an identity crisis. Ironic that it happened last night of all nights considering the debating thats been happening on the forum all week

Its a fact of life unfortunately. At the end of the day the majority of the supporter base supported Wests/Balmain for much longer than WT's and those bonds are tough to break. I know you're a young guy and don't have an emotional attachment to either side so its hard to understand. Just try and imagine in another 20 or 30 yrs WT's merging with Penrith and then you might understand why

Typical response from you really. I'd love to see your reaction if we were ever referred to as the Magpies 3 or 4 times in a game. A lot of attention gets given to the Magpie dinosaurs who haven't moved on, every time you open your mouth you show that you are one from the other side
 
If we were playing at Lidcombe,and got accidentally called the Magpies,I mean Wests Tigers a few times,by a commentator who had been calling the game there for forty years and referring to them as the magpies in that time,Im sure I would be quite ok with it.But dont let that get in the way of yer hilaroius conspiracy theories.

PS…...crowd wasnt bad either.

It was…this latest round of conspiacy theories all started cos someone dared to say that 9k at Cambo was a bad crowd and that LO would do better.

Seems vindicated to me.
 
The week previous goes a long way when attracting crowds, or doesn't it?

Anyway i give up with you, you're clearly somewhere in the 45-60 age group bracket, set in your ways and have no interest in at least understanding where others are coming from, or at least attempting

But a year earlier we heard nothing from Humphreys or your best attempts of a whiny justin beiber when there was 9k at leichhardt for gareth ellis last home game against the melbourne storm.I think the assumption that Humphreys has "VERY SELECTIVE TARGETS IS VINDICATED TO ME".P.S IM A BALMAIN FAN.But Im now a proud Wests Tiger.

The Tigers playing at LO got referred to as Balmain 3 times….BFD, the sky isn't falling.

Its all part of our collective heritage.

Yes it does and i have said so on a dozen or so occasions that theres nothing wrong with using just the one name regardless which one it is. You really are barking up the wrong tree bringing that argument up with me cos it doesn't bother me
