I think he's been slowly winning over people. There are those who still can't see past his first 18 months though, and probably never will out of stubbornness. He's definitely not deserving of a thread like this, especially given how he's played this yr. As I said, some still can't see past 2012 obviously.

Entirely disagree. Keep him.

He is getting better with each game and much more consistent. His experience is also a huge bonus, especially with so many young poleynesian forwards coming through.
The fact that he isn't injury prone also helps us immensely. I don't even think he has been injured since coming to WT

Ideally it would be better to have him on a reduced contract but I'd rather keep him. A 2 year extention would be awesome.

Sue, Taupau & Gavet are three players that I would never have in my starting side, they just come on and finish what others have started.

On the flip side, how frustrating would it be for players to enter the match 25 minutes in, behind on the scoreboard & the team on the back foot.
It must be demoralizing trying to pick up the broken pieces week after week.
Taupau has been our best this year with the limited game time.

Blair is the only forward that makes an error and does his utmost to fix it. He chases the unchaseables the length of the field and works his arse off. Yet people still bag him.

I agree. I was a hater but he has in my opinion been fantastic this year. I would keep him on a reasonable contract.
