Should be way better than he is. Has some good games but with all his physical prowess he should be dominant - seems like it's his footy IQ that lets him down a lot

Agree mate, do you think it's lack of confidence, he seems to be a humble quiet sort of guy, do you get the same read as me. I hope we can wake up the sleeping giant this year.
That's when the right sort of coach can extract the mongrel out of players like him.
I wonder if Wayne Bennett could or would the two of them be seen cuddling and asleep in the corner of the dressing shed🤣

Duhrius would go into full bunny-boiler mode if he saw Daddy Wayne spooning someone else.

Tommy M needs a player or 2 in our pack to lead the way with the aggression and he might want to follow.
Look at Petero, he was a quiet, humble guy but with Webcke, Thorn etc around him he was a wrecking machine. Then in his later years he was the one leading the way for the younger blokes in the pack.

So funny, yeh wasn't Petro the man, big guy. Apparently his upbringing had something to do with him being shy.

Wish.com version of Payne Haas.

Your intention is to have a dig but you are actually being way too generous.

Lol, those two came through high school together and were reported to be a very dynamic, damaging, front row pairing.

One is an absolute monster in first grade with silky foot work and a very powerful game.

The other can barely catch....

Seems destined to be a bench prop for life.

I said before he did show a glimmer of what was required last year, I hope Tamou doesn't deny him an opportunity to get a good contract whoever it's with, he's a good kid, well it appears that way.

Can’t catch and lacks spacial awareness, runs into contact. Look for a hole son.

Sit him down to watch some Olsen Filipaina highlights.

If he can't run through a gap maybe he can get the idea of running straight over the top of opposition defenders.

I don't think he's been coached very well. He really should have developed further than he has. And yes, injuries have been an issue too. Still only young so we'll see.

I think he's still in the top 4 props in the club

Stef, Twal, Seyfarth, Ofahengaue, Musgrove, Tamou & Mikaele.

I assume we pick 5 middle forwards (3 starting and 2 off the bench) and Peachey off the bench. That means 2 of those players miss out.

I think we have a good set of middle forwards. I think Stef, Seyfarth and Twal are the guys to build around.

I agree. Think under a top coach he would be doing a lot better than he is currently however he's still got some time, 24 now so he will have to start picking it up

In my day props had grey whiskers and a face like a pugh dog :]
Jared is still a good prop for his age
The game is however getting faster every year so this next tenure is make or break for him I reckon.
