Thoughts on Watson Heleta being brought into the 17

Well Milone has had a few goes, so time to give Watson or Chance their shot. Of course Chee-Kam is another option.

I think he is a better player than Milone.

But he is so no superstar IMO, could easily be the 1st reserve three quarter though.

I really don't think we can have Heleta, Naiqama and Nofo in the same backline. There's all tiny for a modern day back and would give us the smallest backline in the comp by a long way.

Yes i'd still take Watson over Milone, but when one on one our boys can't consistently tackle bigger outside backs, nor defuse bombs.It's a massive defensive risk to have so many small players.

If it were up to me i would have Chee-Kam at centre with ADC on the wing, its a combination of speed and strength but Taylor seems to be digging his own bed.

Rankin and Milone both need to go.

surely hunt is a better option then rankin though, im sure he'd play centre better then milone at least

I don't know why people want Rankin gone, he had a pretty good game on Sunday and proved he can handle bombs with aplomb (he is a fullback imo) - unless there are two of coming at him. I think he's now adapting to the wing and we need cooler heads like him. Having said that, as I said in another post, watching Josh Addo-Carr warm up with firsts on Sunday, he really stands out with his great running style and his pace was noticeable even in the warmup.

He's slowly coming into his own, for a Half/Fullback playing on the wing he is slowly getting the hang of it. Just doesnt offer a lot when hes returning the ball etc.
