Thoughts on Watson Heleta being brought into the 17

Not up to us forum monkeys
If we had the power we'd field a dream team full of superstars and not have to see the same predictable trash from Taylor week in week out :brick:
 
Well Milone has had a few goes, so time to give Watson or Chance their shot. Of course Chee-Kam is another option.
 
Give him a go, what have we got to lose? From all reports he is an aggressive, straight runner of the ball, something we really lack in the backs.
 
I think he is a better player than Milone.

But he is so no superstar IMO, could easily be the 1st reserve three quarter though.
 
I really don't think we can have Heleta, Naiqama and Nofo in the same backline. There's all tiny for a modern day back and would give us the smallest backline in the comp by a long way.

Yes i'd still take Watson over Milone, but when one on one our boys can't consistently tackle bigger outside backs, nor defuse bombs.It's a massive defensive risk to have so many small players.
 
If it were up to me i would have Chee-Kam at centre with ADC on the wing, its a combination of speed and strength but Taylor seems to be digging his own bed.

Rankin and Milone both need to go.

Wouldn't think so. He's pretty much locked in to return via State Cup.
 
Chee Kam to Centre and JAC to wing. Size and pace we need.

Rankin to five eight and Moses to half back

Brooks playing State Cup along with the other plodders which names are well known on the Forum.

surely hunt is a better option then rankin though, im sure he'd play centre better then milone at least
 
I don't know why people want Rankin gone, he had a pretty good game on Sunday and proved he can handle bombs with aplomb (he is a fullback imo) - unless there are two of coming at him. I think he's now adapting to the wing and we need cooler heads like him. Having said that, as I said in another post, watching Josh Addo-Carr warm up with firsts on Sunday, he really stands out with his great running style and his pace was noticeable even in the warmup.

He's slowly coming into his own, for a Half/Fullback playing on the wing he is slowly getting the hang of it. Just doesnt offer a lot when hes returning the ball etc.
