Thoughts on Watson Heleta being brought into the 17

I don't know why people want Rankin gone, he had a pretty good game on Sunday and proved he can handle bombs with aplomb (he is a fullback imo) - unless there are two of coming at him. I think he's now adapting to the wing and we need cooler heads like him. Having said that, as I said in another post, watching Josh Addo-Carr warm up with firsts on Sunday, he really stands out with his great running style and his pace was noticeable even in the warmup.

I agree, I quite like Rankin, I think he doing fairly well.

He seems to be very good at giving other guys at the back a bit of space on kick returns or early in the set.

Does his bit out of our own end ok, without being overly good, and seems to be decent under the highball and good work rate around the ball.

He has shown enough to keep.

Unless he is killing it in NSW Cup as an attacker and defender he won't stand out in the NRL

Milone forgot he had to stand in the defensive line to save tries last week. He literally was jogging back when the Sharks scored one of their tries. No determination at all. I would've hooked him then and there. He knew that would score if he didn't get back and even try.

Surely we have better options than Milone. Im actually angry that he's allowed to look at our jersey this week let alone wear it! State Cup doesn't even deserve him.

You will never know until you give him 3-4 weeks… Playing Fullback in State Cup is a good footing to play Centre @ NRL Level

Realistically, he is the better option over Chee-Kam & Milone

Heleta is the kid we need for our backs to improve, hes a try scoring freak for a centre and his height, no doubt hes another matty utai for us and we need to make sure that he makes his debut asap.

Heleta is on recovery this week so he wont be 17th men, but next week we shall be prepared for his return in hope that he will get a shot at his first grade debut hes gun, the kid deserves it more than milone or peni but if yous disagree look his stats height dosent matter its the way you play.
