The players are being listened to by the NRL. I'm telling you, this is bigger than JT blowing up last weekend.

Thurston is a dead set Koala.

This shows up a massive flaw with the current judiciary system though. Having ex players, some of whose brain capacity is not overly high, making judgements based on their opinion on what is the correct interpretation of legal argument.

That and of course their own bias will always have a role to play

Dangerous precedent they judiciary just set…. I wouldn't expect any player to be marched or miss any weeks for desent for the rest of this season... if they are it'll be BS

I don't think he should have missed a match. If someone did that a week before the grandfinal do you really believe that someone should miss the grandfinal just for that? I don't. A sinbinning should have been the result. Not that it mattered though since there was only a minute to go in the match. Maybe the player should be fined too if they think it's bad enough, but not suspended.

I think the NRL or whoever lays the charges is who stuffed up here, along with the ref for taking no action is the first place.
To charge him with what they did (detrimental conduct) , then have a shifty lawyer argue the NRL itself kept the content on its own website up till the day of the hearing, the ref taking no action at the time nor even mentioning it in his report - you cant blame the judiciary, its like when cops stuff up and it gets thrown out of court, you need to get it right legally from the outset.
If Robinson acted like Archer did last night with Mortimer & Slater, we avoid all this crap.
