Guys this year was my first year of becoming a Tiger member, i was very excited to receive my hat ,my scarf,my coded card for 4 tickets to LO. I told my family we will go to the same match we went last year up against the Strom.

**Well i was wrong**.

I emailed the Tigers and was extremly disappointed that i was told no you can only use one of your 4 tickets!
I didnt go. I sent my son and his girl although he could only use one ticket of the 4.

I told him if he wants to go to the Roosters game use it because the remaining two tickets the members hat and scarft are going to be sent back to S.Humpreys(dont really care about the spelling of his name).

If i could take the sticker off my car (members sticker) i would send it back to him as well. As you can see i am bitterly disappointed with my team that i have followed since i was 8 years old am 54 now.

Guys have you come across this like me? Last year this was not the case my son and nephew were both members and this has turn us all off.

regards
The Tiger (non member but always a TIGER) 😢

Which Membership did you purchase? If you purchased a 4 Game Membership for LO then it only entitles you to go to LO for 4 games, not 4 people going to the one game.

Just because I purchase a Ultimate Gold package for all 12 home games doesn't mean I can take 11 of my mates to one game only.

As far as I am aware this has always been the case. 1 membership = 1 entry.

Yes, this is slightly frustrating and it stems from the club's decision not to issue the paper tickets.

In previous seasons, if I had some unused paper tickets, I would give them to a couple of mates, but we can't do that now.

I am sorry you are dissapointed but the membership was to admit one to each of the four Lichhardt games.

I have held a season ticket for the past three of or four seasons but wont be renewing my season ticket next year, not fused on all the groud switches and the big screen being in a bad posittion at leichhardt oval as well. Im sure im not the only one whom isnt impressed. I bought a season tciket for all leichhardt oval games and have been to 3.

Kinda like the membership i got that informed me i would get a text for home games with team changes. I think out a campbelltown against the Dogs it came through about 20 mins in telling me we were 1-17 and the u/20's won 22-18\. False advertising really as 1st grade was well and truely underway and i knew the same 17 were playing!

Whilst I am happy with the membership that I have this year for myself and 2 daughters, I am not overly excited with the colour of the hats this year.. I think members should be given a choice of colours - traditional black/white or the traditional black/orange.. By having this option, I think it would encourage yr long time supporters of both merged clubs to jump onboard and become part of this wonderful Wests Tigers FC.. But let's hope that our footy side will continue/start to repay their fans with on field efforts, like us members r supporting u guys in the stands…

I wasn't that keen on the colour of the cap either and said so in a post earlier this year. I understand that orange was selected as it sticks out in a crowd and shows the volume of our membership so I wear it to support the club on that basis. It would have been an improvement to have the official club emblem on the cap rather than the hybrid version they went with.

the one membership = one entry rule applies because of wat happened at the storm game last yr. the storm game was the last leichhardt game of the year and because members had the paper tickets last yr, any unused tickets were given away to non members because there was no point in keeping them. for example, last yr between my sister and i, we had 5 paper tickets left but only me, dad, and her went along, so we thought we'd do a favour for some fellow tigers fans by giving them 2 free tickets to the game. this obviously cost the club a bit of money seeing as ppl were getting in for free when they otherwise wouldve paid full fare.
none the less i can understand ur frustrations The Tiger

Can't see how it is costing the club money. Each patron who has entered the ground has paid for the product. No one has entered without paying.

It only stops some double dipping by the club as a result of members not being able to attend all games they have subscribed too.

why is that?

1\. My financial situation has changed re: now have a mortgage
2\. Not happy with the club, spending money they were advised not too and being penalised.

wat do u mean u cant see how it is costing the club money. i just gave an example of how the paper tickets cost the club money last yr. i gave 2 tickets away to ppl that otherwise would have paid $40 for 2 tickets. thats $40 that the club didnt recieve that they could have

Those two tickets were not "free" as you paid for them as part of your membership. If you did not give them away and the tickets are unused, the club gets the unused portion of your membership (2 tickets) PLUS the gate takings of your two friends.

In that instance, the 3 of you attended for the price of 5\. To me, that is double dipping by the club.

If not being able to double dip fans is costing the club money, then fair enough, I accept your argument that paper tickets were costing the club.

alrite i get ur point but all im saying is that its money that the club couldve had that they didnt get. im sure the club would want that money even if it is seen as "double dipping"

The 3 different home grounds are
Actually a disincentive to become a member because you dont really get good value compared to clubs with the one home ground. If you only go to the four lo games then why bother becoming a member?? Just pay the 4 stand alone entries. The members scarf and hat look very cheap and thr colour schemes dont match wt. Wrong coloured orange and not a good or fair blend of black white and orange (wt colours) not black and orange like old balmain

I doubt the Tigers will get more than 10,000 season ticket holders until they get away from the inadaqate suburban grounds both of these grounds grandstands are full now ..I had 5 season tickets for several years and will not pay top dollar to sit on a concourse and in the elements friends of mine think the same. To be honest I could not care less if we never went back to these grounds time for managment to harden up and make the right move for the future they play out of SFS 20,000 paying seats would not be a problem. But Tradition blah blah over it .

While I have loved having my Gold Membership this year I do feel a bit let down that they changed the Gold Seating to what used to be Silver after the membership was bought because they sold to many.

No rain coverage at either SFS or Leichardt. Only really happy with the seats at Cambo.

Unless they can make my Gold Membership better than the old Silver seating I won't be a gold member next year.
