Austin went OK as well improved defence but his no Brooks. Spends have his time flicking his hair out of his eyes…try a haircut champ.

i noticed the exact same thing in azsportza's youtube vid when he was at marker. pretty annoying that the guy at dummy half got a little extra time!

Good to here we played more directly

Buchanan , you mentioned he has built up , is it more up top or have those chicken legs got some size to them now ??

Did we look more dangerous when we were close to the line than in 2013 Willow ??

He definitely has more size up top. It's just his leg speed still seems ordinary, like he's plodding out there. I think he'll be better than last year though, most of these blokes will be from the look of it.

Our wrestle in the ruck was improved also.

how good is it to have willow back reporting the games for us . when you read his report it just like being at the game thanks heap willow ill be waiting for your report each week .go west tigers

Thanks Willow, a good and reasoned post as usual. Along with Snake's post and a words from Irvine, between them I got a much appreciated feel for last night's hitout.

Thought Gavet was the Tigers best forward. Could develop into a real crowd favorite !

I think he'll be excellent off the bench for us with his impact, he does everything at 100 miles per hour. Good to see him injury free and fit.

Could be Kidwells influence

Glad we got out of that injury free.
Thanks Willow for a great wrap up of each of the players. Also Azasportza for the video.
I am sure we are all hungry for every snippit at this time of the year. You guys are awesome.

The penalties are a real worry - we need to get that out of our game real quick. We get nabbed often enough as it is by the Refs without Blair going out of his way to add to the Tally. Maybe we should make him a deal; $1000 a penalty for 2014\. He will end up owing us by the end of the season.

Up the mighty Tigers for the season ahead - loving we are under the Radar.

What a great read. Wonderful to have a detailed critical report rather the lifeless stuff you get elsewhere.

Will Simona be a walk up start if he's fit for round 1? would he need a week or 2 in NSW cup for match fitness?

I'd reckon due to the fact he had shoulder surgery that he would of managed to get a fair bit of run into his legs

Whether that is enough to play 80 minutes of NRL , that remains to be seen

Probably being able to get some confidence into the shoulder being able to do the job would be the biggest concern for Tim

Appreciate yeh thoughts of those who were there, unfortunately I couldn't make it and find that fans give you a more curate description of what happened then the papers, club reports do.

I'm really excited about Gavet and Tupau. If Galloway can come back 100% fit, I could see these two on the bench making huge impact. Big, mobile and very aggressive.
Does anyone know what Gavet's preferred position is? While he could prob play lock I would like to see him have at least 5 games as a bench prop to see how he goes.

He is a prop. Never seen him play any other position.
