I was looking forward to seeing Momo star this year, I really hope he's back at the club in 2021. He might not want to come back to the club.


Apparently Harry Grant is a star in the making from all reports.

We might be wishing we could hang onto him at the end of the season. Concerned about our goal kicking again though.. Momo was looking our best option and now he's probably gone. Hopefully Mbye has been working hard on that in the off season, or we have someone from left of field who has some ability.

If I remember correctly wasn't Mbye our 1st choice kicker but his ongoing hamstring issues didn't allow it...

Yeah I recall he was looking ok and then all of a sudden Marsters steps up and we have a 40% success rate. Hopefully Mbye is fitter this season.

If we get this deal sorted I will be confident we can make the 8 for the first time in years. Grant will be in the top 5 hookers halfway through the season. He is that good.

we don't have a specialist. Liddle won't be rushed back and will return in July at absolute earliest, M'Bye's a 6 turned outside back, Walters and Reynolds are halves and Simpkin is 18 years old and while has the physical attributes, he still has a bit more development in him until he's NRL standard.

Harry Grant solves all our problems short term and ensures we aren't rushing Liddle or Simpkin and we aren't playing the others out of position and weakening us at 9.

Liddle won't play nrl this season. Guaranteed. Still several months away from even returning to training, then he needs fitness and confidence in his body. They'll take him very slowly and tryuand build him back up towards 2021

I dont doubt that at all. Its what should be done. But i thought he was penciled in for around round7?
