Not much activity since the Hooper article. From reading another article where Momo was interviewed he only found out the deal was back on from the article. The way I see it, if nothing happens today or tomorrow morning then the deal is probably off. I can’t see a swap happening if they both play for their current teams on the weekend.

as Pom said, there's plenty to work through still. Melbourne will also try and remove the get out clause Grant has in his contact, and that could push things back. just because it's not sorted by Wednesday doesn't mean it's dead in the water.

Yeah the whole terminating one contract and signing a new one and a club (potentially) trying to renegotiate the terms of a contract in order to do a 'favour' and release him.

He needs to hold strong on the Cam Smith release clause though.
