One can hope

You reckon Doueihi is a better grab long-term than Lomax? Just curious, based on something you might’ve said in the live*

I Know it’s unrelated

Does he go straight to 9 if he's here next week?
Thought Walters was very good.

I don't think so, Walters very good.

I think we might be keeping MOMO he was 18th man today Grant asking for release and looks like he may get it

I don't think so, Walters very good.

I'm with you.
I'd hope we go:
6 Marshall
7 Reynolds
9 Walters
14 Grant

If Grant comes you can only assume he'll start.

Hard on Walters because he's done well in the trial and tonight. He should get the bench spot though, if not a halves spot. Happy to give JR another run in the halves, but I think Walters might be better for us there then him.

Be stoked if we get to keep Momo.

I would like both

NRL.com reporting Grant will be here by round 3, they’re just waiting on Brandon Smith to be fit and he’s pushing for selection for this week.

Having Grant and Walters share the hooking role would improve us a lot.

Here's how it will go down.
* Paul Momiroviski and Harry Grant are both released from their current contracts.
* Momirovski signs with Melbourne for 2020 and Grant signs with Wests Tigers for 2020.
* Wests Tigers pay some of Momirovski's contract so Melbourne don't exceed the salary cap.
* Harry Grant is signed to the the same value contract he is on now.
* Wests Tigers bill Melbourne with some "miscellaneous expense" to account for the extra we spent to get the deal through.
* At the same time the 2020 contracts are signed, Momirovski signs with the Wests Tigers for 2021 and Grant signs with the Melbourne Storm for 2021.

And just like that, the deal is done. The NRL may as well have signed off on the deal, as it was always going to get done one way or another. All we're doing is wasting time jumping through loopholes.

It will take a season for the NRL to work that one out

I liked the look of walters. Apart from a few errors he made truck loads of tackles and looked lively on the ball. I really liked what he offers.

He’ll be even better when he shares the role with Grant who’s probably better than Walters. Madge clearly happy to have three forwards on the bench considering MCK barely played last night

A lot of people involved in the game seem confident the swap will happen - storm just waiting for Brandon Smith to be fit I think
