Not just that day either, all through the finals.

Seems solid to me, not huge, but aggression makes up for things very quickly. Put him in a professional environment and hopefully he can get even more powerful.
I think Happy said he was the same size, a fraction bigger than Fults? Seems a lot bigger if you ask me!
Griffin was at pre season training with the Broncos last season. Bennett was considering him as an experienced backup forward but i'm glad we've got them both.
Anderson the Ipswich fullback had already signed with the Broncos earlier in the year, a shame we couldn't grab him too as he was apparently a goer too!
Hopefully his Williams-esque brain snap was a once off. Was a pretty grubby shot on Mamo.
People say this as the commentators at the time exaggerated a lot. Of all the officials on the field, and all the replays available via Fox there wasn't any evidence to say that he coward punched Mamo! That's why he didn't get sent off or suspended for punching..!
If an opponent is bullying our players, don't you want a hard man who sticks up for his team mates and doesn't let opponents walk all over us?!

I don't disagree. Blindsiding someone is worse than running your mouth though.
@sunshine coast tiger said:If we were smart and punted JT for the Walker Brothers as coach we have two players that suit their system down to the ground. Would still be cheaper to punt JT (who has the full support of the board, famous last words), hire the Walker Brothers (who have modern game plans and actually would make watching football fun again) than to pay a lot of money for Robbie to play elsewhere (think he would like the style of footy the Walker Brothers play).
Said if before punting JT for the Walker Brothers is win win for the club in my view.
@Balmain Boy said:Oh and by the way, for those asking earlier Seve does indeed have an older brother who's played league in QRL, i think for Ipswich or maybe Brothers. Believe his name was Ben Seve, but not 100% on the first name…

A good news discussion turned around for more Taylor hate. God help us.

I actually really hope that Jason Taylor turns it around, I however highly doubt what my knowledge of rugby league (albeit it only as a junior player and spectator for over 30 years) is telling me that his game plans and coaching style wont work. I strongly think the board with their limited rugby league knowledge being advised by Grant Mayer appointed a dud of a coach, nothing he did in the first year has proven me wrong. Again I hope he has a far better second year but can't see it.
@magpiecol said:I think that any fair minded person would give Taylor the benefit of the doubt for at least next season and maybe into 2117.

One year with a team which was "not his", over the salary cap by heaps, CEO shown the door, Board members ditto, is really not long enough to make any judgement.
Taylor is slowly getting a team together, new coaching staff, new CEO getting the salary cap situation under control and a new Board.
I think that any fair minded person would give Taylor the benefit of the doubt for at least next season and maybe into 2117.
I'm sorry to say SCT that I have followed League for 56 years, and feeling every one of my 70 years. However, there are some people who say that I still know nothing about it. Go figure.
PS. They could be right, but I know fairness when I see it ( or don't ).

We have a supposed policy of not signing anyone until 2017 but we keep recruiting reserve grade talent.
Before you know it we will have maxed out our cap (again) on reserve graders who we are only bought for depth. Come on Tigers learn from your mistakes. We have a brilliant nursery, so leave development to the juniors and save whats left of the cap money to invest in established talent.
You do understand we have a reserve grade team and therefore need exactly as much reserve grade talent as we do first grade talent ? Also that the first grade talent and the reserve grade talent come with separate salary caps so saving money on reserve grade talent gives you precisely $0 for first grade talent
No I did not realize that. Thank you for letting me know.
Just as long as we are in fact signing these guys to reserve grade and not first grade then your info calms my nerves…..
