Tigers Ball Roundup

It was a great night great to see Lote, Lawrence, Heino, Woods and Ellis there last night the squad have been given a week off due to the bye would have been nice if the club captain made an appearance.

Also a key note by Humphries is that The Tigers expect their memebership base to treble over the next two years and how important to have supporters become members.

Fat chance; they seem to currently be on a mission to p… off as many fans as possible so maintaining current membership might be a more realistic goal. And I am not just referring to losing the odd player or two to Cronulla.

I don't know how the membership is going to treble when we are at capasity for LO & CO. May need to rejig the member packages and actually start listening to the fans!

Least they are not asking us to pay for their Gym (unlike the Roosters!)

Good point TDC….I imagine there will be more attractive GA packges. that or they will start charging for hill side c'course seats at LO and seats behind the posts at cambo.
I reckon they allow for 5000 growth both seasons & will bank on making semis both '12 & '13, gouging another 5k on each occasion.
Once youre in its very easy to stay a member....once or twice I want going to renew but the simplicity of the process and the offseason calming my angst sees me renew...probably be the same again this year :unamused:

Perhaps if the people who turn up to our home grounds all become members would be a start - personally I think wit the right development of membership in the next couple of years they could definatly get more. For a start a proper payment system where people could pay over 12 months would get them perhaps 3000 more

We are blowing up about some players leaving , but those decisions pale into insignificance compared to the very big decisions to make over the next 5-10 years. We are not the club that started in 2000\. We have an outrageous opportunity to become the biggest club in Sydney. We can't waste this opportunity like our foundation clubs did previously.

Thanks for the update Tigergran, glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself, hope some of the players shouted you a drink!! As for McKinnon playing the second half with a broken rib(s) it would explain his form however he must be tough because broken rib(s) are very painful, have suffered from this myself and there is no way I could have run, it was painful laying flat let alone moving.

Again the bases of your opinion is nothing, there is no mission to p off as many fans as possible if the club management had your negativity then we would have no members. Realistically I believe the club will introduce different types of memberships not only game day memberships. We have alot of fans that dont go to games it would be great for them to become members as well, so the target is very realistic.

You can be as critical as you like, you seem to have an axe to grind you need to chill out abit :bawling

Timing is everything, the current climate the club is in and the news of their membership aspirations dont really gel well.

WOW!!! McKinnon has one shocker and all u idiots bag him!!! Imagine if we supported our players through the bad as well as the good they may feel more obligided to dig in and have a go!! All this forum is about is bagging and stupid signing rumours. Hmmmmm

*Sheens said that if all our U20s players play in the NYC they would win that comp. There would be 6 or 7 first graders in that team. It's a special bunch..

Well 5 have played first grade…Does that make them first graders ?

1\. Aaron Woods
2\. Ben Murdoch-Masila
3\. Jacob Miller
4\. Tim Simona
5\. Matt Groat
_________
6\. & 7 ?
Curtis Sironen
Pat Politoni
James Tedesco
Marika Koroibete
David Nofoaluma

Add Big Neil Begovich to that list as well so I'd say we have more then 6 or 7 FG in that squad and when I see them all in a list makes clearing the decks even more sensible

it wont be trebling with the way things are panning out at the moment ….maybe we are joining the labor party and julia will be forcing us all to join......

Well that explains a few things Thanks TigerGran What about a month for a broken rib isn't it ??? Anyone know ????

well that only tells me the coach has lost the plot once more playing a guy who runs on one leg on the wing when he has just broken a rib,,,,the upside is we wont have to endure him for about a month …...

What about Spence ???

I only listed the players who seem to be favorites with Mr Sheens this week.

Mosese Fotuaika is another who is currently in the potential first graders book.

Begovich, Roqica, Wisby and Spence seem to be having their turn on the outer….but as we know that can change at any time.
