TIGERS EYE MORGAN & LOWE

No but as with most players eg Simona…. if the existing Club comes up with a reasonable offer the player more often than not stay with that Club...

I can't see how Lowe staying at the Cowboys means WT only have a megre amount available...

We will never know at any time how much WT has available (small or big amount) to sign new players. We can only guess.

Did we ever make a serious play for him, my guess would be an under priced subtle inquiry.

I know a few on the Forum were interested.

BUT - Did the club ever want him?

I seem to remember no signings this year.

The problem i'm seeing is that our depth is poor as is and there's still quite a few off-contract players on our books. I can see some of them being let go but I think our priority should be to sign up these players before making any offers on the open market

Well, either we have no money or we have the most miss managed cap of all time. I don't think JT is investing everything in the juniors out of choice.

Makes me sick in the guts to watch parra, raiders and warriors sign multiple rep players and still say they are under the cap,yet we can't even sign a 1st grader after letting 10 nrl players go last year, something is rotten there.

They know how to manage the cap, we don't.

God we release Blair , Austin and Gavet who still had Contracts for Season 2015 and we still can't sign an outside player 😱pen_mouth: a real Centre and i can't remember where i read that we were trying to off load Lawrence to the Super League to accommodate Simona's new Contract :frowning: , we have hit the pits in terms of Signings .

Wake me up at the end of 2016

According to today's Sunday Telegraph Jamal Idris is set to be released from Penrith. Is he the centre Wests Tigers have been so desperate for. Of course its no use getting excited if the club doesn't have the $'s for even an average centre.

I don't think we have dollars spare to start with.

I think Idris is being let go for a reason from Penrith; probably the same reason as from the Titans. Been awhile since he has shown good form and I think there is something affecting his game.
I would think he has personal issues. Wouldn't be cheap.

Whilst I'm not sold on the idea we need a centre from outside - I don't think he is the one. Too big of a gamble imo.

Talking about 'grass is greener', we had bird in our hands but :frowning:
