Great to see the tigers this year with depth in their pack,Taupau and Gavet have turned out to be masterstroke additions and Woodsy just keeps on improving.Having big Keith back and the tigers have 4 strong hard running fowards who are hard to contain, sometimes taking 3 or 4 defenders to try and bring them down.Taupau and Woods have already crossed the line and have been unlucky on a few occasions,as was KG,my question to you tigers fans… out of these 4 forwards who will score the most tries in 2014?

Reckon Woods.

But on the forwards the WT have never had a pack like this. In my opinion they are superior to the Balmain pack of the 80s and would compare to the Magpies pack of the late 70s.

And credit to Potter encouraging them to run straight.

But IMO the real secret to our success is that with refs calling held quicker we have young forwards who are fit and have pace for big men.

And Galloway, Woods . Tapau. Gavet and Blair often, very often stand in tackles and play the ball without first falling to the ground and then Farah capitalizes with the backs and especially Tedesco running and weaving through the middle.

Its only early days but if we stay fit and there are current problems and contain our errors can see us having a real shot at it.

That's why the Magpies pack played in two grand finals in the seventies….and Balmain never played in any grand finals in the eighties....Geez

Hope we can continue like this to the end of the year. With our other forwards coming back, we are a chance at the end of the year.First, not to be ahead of ourselves and take each game as they come.We have to beat the Eels first.
