Tigers interested in Beau Scott

Not sure about this one. If Parra offered 500k and we offered more I think I'm glad we missed out. I don't think its worth spending that much on a guy who is the wrong side of 30.

Alex Glenn or Adam Docker would be better Imo.

Idk about Docker, but i'd take Glenn in a heartbeat.

People always say we should be a club that relies on juniors. Why? The only clubs that should have that mentality are clubs like the Raiders because of their ability as a team, plus the location. We shouldn't have to rely solely on juniors, we should be aiming higher than that. If the reports are true that we offered Beau Scott more money than Parra, then i can cop that, cos it at least means we're trying, and that we'll have a crack at the next guy that comes along.

Its pretty obvious that we are still an unattractive club to join. Scott choosing parra for less money is a reality check.

Ah…Ok ...it was in the paper so it must be true...

Who reads newspapers anymore. With digital and and social media, by the time the story hits the paper the next day, everything is old news.

Ah Ok I retact my statement and substitute …it was in the MEDIA so it must be true...the article quoted was from the SMH...

Not to disappointed,$500k a year for 3 years for a bloke who will be 31 in may, parra are gonna have a very old backrow in the very near future.
We need to be looking at players like Glen who are established and accomplished and are 26 going on 27,not guys over 30.

Totally agree i cant see the point of getting a player well past his best who would probably offer very little after next year

Nate Miles only has one more contract in him as well. I think he'll slow down after he signs it.
