lol short memories? didnt read the article but short memories would show 6 straight losses.

You wonder if he was actually serious or just trolling us. I think he is serious. It's crazy.

I will give you blokes and gals something to chew over…I had the pleasure of enjoying an old Balmain players company over the weekend,he is in his Seventies, his grandson played for the WTs 6/7 years ago....I won't name names because it is irrelevant to this conversation, however he told me "" while Farah is associated with this club you will always have internal dramas""......its unbelievable since Farah has been in the team we have LOST 6 games straight....make of it what you like ...seems like another coach may bite the dust....

While we are at it ,apparently the Reggie's are playing at Moss Vale,my home town on the weekend,I will have my scouts in place to see what these sensational replacements for our NRL team play like,I have to work...keep you posted,go the Tiges tomorrow night....

Farah can not be made a scapegoat for our recent run of outs, but he like everyone involved with the tigers should shoulder some responsibility.

As for being this trouble maker behind the scenes, I have never ever seen anyone produce a scrap of evidence other than hearsay. I could be wrong, but I say your innocent until proven guilty.

One thing I would say on Farah that father time has caught up with him and he is a long way away from his glory days, but there is plenty of effort

I completely agree with these comments. I reckon Robbie has been relatively good for us this year but still not good enough. We need better from him on the field. I just ignore the off the field stuff.

"I think it's really clear to see from the performances that we've had so far this season have been full of character, full of great character," Taylor said.

JT can't insult fans like this the players have given up on him and is obvious. What Character is he referring to? The character that got a good man in Potter sacked who was twice the coach JT ever was.

They have had a crack in most games.
Titans and Raiders games were unsatisafactory as we're most second halves in the others.

Truth be told only 2 or 3 of our 17 would be regular first graders in other squads. Can't expect much from guys who aren't up to it.

I'll end up sounding like a JT sympathiser at this rate, but he's right.

The commitment from this team this season, outside of that Canberra game, has been exceptional. For 5 losses in a row I didn't think "they've stopped trying here". Only last weekend. Could be they were just on a bad night, and the talent in this team probably doesn't allow for 'bad nights'.

Fact is- this team is cobbled together with young players, rejects from other teams, and some older guys that probably should have moved on. It's not an ideal collection- YET.

The results are worse this year, but I think they are playing better than last year. And the year before.

Before we sink the ship- we lost to the Storm, Eels, Sharks & Raiders in our 6 losses. All of those teams are in the 8\. Only 1 beat us by more than 2 scores.

The Titans & Knights losses are harder to accept, but again, not totally horrible performances.

I don't expect this team to make the 8\. But I do expect to see gradual improvement. 1 or 2 losses like Canberra can, possibly should, be expected from this team.

But if they turn around tomorrow & put in against Souths I'll be willing to take the Raiders loss for what it was.

I agree with a hell of a lot of what you are saying

But getting beaten 60-6 should not be expected by any side at any stage bar finishing a game with 11 players due to injuries or send offs

I'm not going to check through the history books , but tell me when the last time the Broncos ,Storm ,Cowboys got beaten by 50 with the majority of their name players on the paddock

Its all about mindset , never giving up and pride, something this club struggles with every season

I agree with you both. I was away and wasn't able to see the match, so I'm only relying on what I've been reading. But the scoreline says it all and to be honest I was astounded by that. I didn't believe that the WT had it in them to allow themselves to be beaten that completely. I thought they were well on the way to a winning, never-say-die attitude. Silly me, I thought we'd win that one.

Silly you. What where you thinking?

Oh well, if we can't expect much, then maybe we shouldn't have any concerns with where we're at on the table , the amount of losses,, the regular piss poor for and against each year, the seeming lack of passion for the jersey….did I miss anything? No, I damn well care. My sons don't want to watch games anymore because we always lose. Once you've chosen a team you can't just change your loyalties. However, it's very easy to skip codes and pick a more competitive team. Especially when you live outside of NSW or QLD.

I think Fade To Black said it- the Broncos, Storm & Cowboys- when was the last time they fielded the same level of players in the same kind of circumstances? It's not JUST about talent. The Tigers, in my opinion, have several talented players.

But, coming off 5 losses, their best player out, potentially fielding players that are either playing before or after their time…. 60-6 is never acceptable. They should be fuming. But, unless this becomes a continuous thing, I'm willing to cop it. Good teams get flogged at times. The Tigers aren't even a good team.

The Tigers aren't a good team :frowning: it's sad to hear that. Maybe one day we will be again. :sign:

100% right WD

As I said to my old man this weekend , I'm far more excited about what is happening with West Ham and its future than I am about the WT's and their future

My Second team is Central Coast Mariners.
How do you think I am going?
Still it does give me a yardstick the Mariners fielded the youngest team in A League history this year finished last & had some horrible results.
All and sundry are calling for The Coaches Head.
Thank God it's off season for 1 of my sides or I'd be lining up with the "Delusional Knob" at the Gap…...lol

If only Leeds were in the Premier League I have no doubt I would be more excited for them than the Tigers.
These Days I make plans to go out for Dinner maybe on a Saturday night and if the Tigers are playing so be it…..where once upon a time I would never allow that on game Day.

I'm sure it won't be long before current Wests Tigers Season ticket holders say to themselves " couldn't be Bothered going " if they haven't already.

Yeah I was the same this weekend gone FT , I would have fished for longer and cleaned the fish until way after dark if I hadn't been so crook

Even then I was fortunate , I feel asleep for the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half

Not sure what Farah is doing off the field, probably nothing, he is too smart for that. However I am sure Farah is still undermining the team - on the field. He
is as slow as a wet week, really slow passes from dummy half (usually after a couple of steps), which puts Moses and Brooks under enormous pressure and cuts down their options to almost nothing. He still does 40 tackles but most now are second or third man in and if he is first in, he gets dragged for about five metres, Plenty of selfish runs (usually when something is on), wrong options, goes left when the gap is right and v. v. When was the last time he went for a 40/20, kicked for the line etc.

I get he has lost pace (it is a given at his age), normally when an attribute goes another kicks in to compensate. You go blind, your hearing improves and so on.
I also can't believe he has lost his footy nous and alzheimers has set in. He is not reading the game as a SOO dummy half would (bet he improves in SOO just like he did in the Warriors game late last year), not that he would get picked on form.

I think it is all intentional to undermine the coach and so get rid of number 3.

Can't wait for him to be gone and the halves can play without a millstone around their neck. He is more toxic than Chernobyl. At least they are going to put a dome over it.

You know what TT i have no doubt about that and believe it .
i've heard similar things from a close source that's worked closely with him that he is one of the moodiest self centred pricks you will find…...those were his words mind you  .

Players fall out of favour from Coaches all the time and Coaches go in different directions and identify players that don't suit there plans anymore and that's what happened to Robbie .
What made JT look like an idiot last year was ? The Club failed to back up JT in paying out Farah's Contract money if he wasn't obliged to leave , which in the end that's what happened and made us as a Club look like an Organisation that is run by Lunatics , i think the Club failed to back up JT cause if your going to make such a Big move you need the Club to back you up and provide the money to make your intent clear.
But obviously we haven't got a Tin to piss on let alone coming up with that sort of money .

The Club needs to desperately create a new Culture away from this guy but there hands are tied until his Contract is finished.

I've heard similar thought patterns,i'm out of the loop but still in contact with my Uncle who was a strapper/trainer in the 1980/90's and some of the old Balmain guard and most have turned on Robbie, mainly because of the threat to leave if he didn't get his lucrative contract and then 18 Months later approaching Souths for a run.
They feel the Board should have done a 'Brasher' on him and called his bluff as his best years are behind him and opposing Coaches know his plays too well and like Benji, hasn't got the speed too change anything.
Also like Benji he was a champion and its a shame to enter the twilight years of his career with many long term fans/supporters blase about his contribution to the Team.

For all the JT bashers,I reckon he was on the money and the boys club prevailed…sometimes things are not what they seem....Robbie has one thing in his favour..a massive ego...where that takes him nobody knows.....

So much wrong all within post.

1\. The JT haters. I think everyone wants the club to be successful. We are just sick of losing and the coach seems to have no idea.
2\. The boys club. Who is it ? What do they do ? What power do they have ? How did they prevail ?
3\. Things are not what they seem ? Is Santa Clause real ? I mean what are you talking about ?
4\. Robbie has a massive ego in his favour. Do you know his ego ? Why does nobody know where it will take him ? What does this have to do with the Tigers winning games.

Anyhoo !
