Tigers Players Praise Taylor Over Farah Feud

I'm all for the players buying into what JT is trying to achieve but only an antagonist would start a tread with a misleading title

What are you talking about, it was the title of the article.

We the paaionate and dedicated WTFers begged for a change in culture, style and for some backbome for years.

We finally have a coach with balls to make the hard decissions and when we see a glint of success we still cant accept it is a resultnof a plan.

Make no mistake this trajectory aint no fluke, AND, we aint where we need to be just yet.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the epic feud between Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor and hooker Robbie Farah can have its origin pinpointed to October 2014.

It's been reported that Farah was labelled "selfish" by JT after choosing to pull on a Kangaroos jersey instead of train with the Tigers.

This was a rare chance for Farah to don the green and gold, with Cam Smith normally having a firm grasp on the no.9.

After being called "selfish", Farah is reported to have replied to JT: "well, that is a decision you have never had to make" - a jibe at JT's own footy career.

Already posted…I notice that headline didn't get debunked

Some taking it as Gospel....

Well done to the players …. They are a very professional group the way they have handled it.

Especially how they handled the coach over the past two years - had to educate him as well but luckily he was modest enough and learnt quickly and well. And we can't blame him that he could not make a Aus rep side.

Taylor was only a goal kicker …. Never achieved the wraps In the big time that he got playing for St.Gregs. He and Warren Ryan were always at war .... Hence he had to leave and play for Norths.

Its as clear as the nose on your face theyve never been more united and playing as a team than they are now

Well done to JT, for showing the young blokes what a team can achieve as opposed to individuals running their own race

JT isnt perfect, he like the players are learning and developing…theyre working as one and achieving as one, hes made mistakes in the past, he will make mistakes in the future, everyone does...look at uncle wayne last Oct

Everyone seems a lot happier now...its awesome

Couldn't have said it better

When your winning everyone is happy and not much negativity is being said, when you lose games it's a different story

At present the guys are playing with great spirit and the coach has to take credit, let's hope the attitude and maturity can grow even more from the players and coaching staff.

If Robbie was in WT GF winning team this year imagine that - could only imagine if massive injuries forced such. Wondered if ever occurred that same player in GFs 11 years apart for same club? Maybe ST G back in old days.

Minichiello did it just a few years ago (2002 and 2013).

Listen to you two…another couple of butthurt souls.
Cant give any credit and going back a quarter century to try and dig some dirt on him.
Sad.

I love what I saw on Sunday and credit goes to the coach and players, there have been plenty of times in the past where criticism was warranted

If our team plays like they did on Sunday supporting each other and playing for each other win, lose or draw then we are in for one good ride.

Very hollow
The great Jack Gibson didn't have much of a rep playing history either.

But keep sniping away.

What else would you call it Knuckles? Can't give the coach credit where it's due? I'm sure if we lost the blame would be laid squarely at his feet. Taylor has obviously learned on the job much like his charges and they're producing results as a byproduct of those mistakes. Most of us were critical of Taylor when the team wasn't performing. He seems to have got them into a good space where we could actually make the 8 despite a large percentage of this forum predicting us for the cellar this year.
