Tigers Players Praise Taylor Over Farah Feud

The trouble is now because of good results we have to start liking the bugger, even forgive him and forget our legendary hero he who has nothing. I liked his honesty in the after game interview.

Welcome back Byron.

Don't like him a bit - I listen to him speak and it all sounds like spin - if you stick purely with a non creative dh doesn't take the opposition long to work out where the ball is going and jam the halves and unless your forwards are taking the ball on the advantage line you go backwards instead of forwards.
But while the team is winning and he is contracted I am resigned to the fact that he lives by the sword. He is winning at the moment and that is a good thing for our squad and our fans. Won't stop me cringing though every time he speaks.

None

If we make the 8 this year and give the finals a good shake next year we'll become a very attractive proposition. Players will go where the success is. If we can afford them and offer sustained competition in the finals, they will come.

One thing I'll give Taylor is that consider the Pottergate affair: look what happened after that was outed, we completely capitulated and fell well out of the race. Conversely JT and Farah have been banging heads since day dot it is supposed, and when the situation has hit it's most tumultuous point, JT has managed to get the team ready to compete and win games. It's seen that he can motivate the players to want to win despite what is happening in the locker room.

We don't need Robbie the 3rd half.
I saw plenty of good dummy half runs on the weekend and nothing flashy. Just what we need.
Pass pass and pass.

Halatau makes good metres when required out of dummy half. He's been a real unsung hero the last few weeks

Taylor was only a goal kicker …. Never achieved the wraps In the big time that he got playing for St.Gregs. He and Warren Ryan were always at war .... Hence he had to leave and play for Norths.

Listen to you two…another couple of butthurt souls.
Cant give any credit and going back a quarter century to try and dig some dirt on him.
Sad.

I love what I saw on Sunday and credit goes to the coach and players, there have been plenty of times in the past where criticism was warranted

Butthurt souls hey …. Still as classy as ever 😕

What else would you call it Knuckles? Can't give the coach credit where it's due? I'm sure if we lost the blame would be laid squarely at his feet. Taylor has obviously learned on the job much like his charges and they're producing results as a byproduct of those mistakes. Most of us were critical of Taylor when the team wasn't performing. He seems to have got them into a good space where we could actually make the 8 despite a large percentage of this forum predicting us for the cellar this year.

Yep credit where it's due … But what else could I call it ... Well ... Each to their own.

Yeah well we all know Ink is a little more blunt than most.

It really is staggering the amount of grown adults i've seen since Sunday who have stamped their feet like a child and crossed their arms or have reacted with fingers in their ears saying "la la la JT still can't coach".

JT Go and Pascoe are taking the club in the right direction. The days of players like Marshall and Farah running the club are over and it's clear skies ahead.

If we are competing for the 8? I'm sure players will want to come especially with players like Tedesco, Woods, Moses at the helm.

If we make the 8 this year or next? It will be interesting to see if Jason Taylor has a Coaching job past next year? Don't remember where I read that Moses chances of staying beyond next year is subject to who is Coaching us.

If Jason Taylor isn't signed past next year even after making the 8 this year or next? Well that will answer the questions what the Club think of Jason Taylor.

Not really. The bulk of those people make their feelings known on social media.

It was more the visual of many grown men stamping their feet with their arms crossed, fingers in their ears going la la la - not something I thought you would "see" regularly on a forum or on Facebook ,- but if you are referring to those who's opinion of JT being not able to coach - yep I have read posts by many of those.

If we keep up this form for the rest of the season, we'll be a very attractive proposition, whether we make it or not.
Doesn't really make much difference for 2017 as I'm not sure we have much cap room to play with, but the window for 2018 opens in November, so we need to be selling ourselves right here and now.

MAFIA - Robbie himself said last September quote " Taylor is a great coach".

Can't wait for our next loss. All the Taylor haters will be out in force! The official WT facebook page is about as toxic as it gets.

Yep, I got the hell out of there a couple of weeks back. It's insane that place.
