Tigers Players Praise Taylor Over Farah Feud

Chewbacca is the nickname given to Tallis.

Shame that there are people on this forum giving it to Robbie for no apparent reason other than what they have read/heard in the media.

Pathetic given that everytime he has worn the jersey for 247 games, he has given 100%.

The experts that think Farah should be playing are all the ex-players and coaches who are currently working in the media.

It makes no sense, that a team currently without a dummy half for 40min of a game, leaves the current NSW hooker in the reggies. Yet, the club prefers to give Farah away, whilst paying most of his wages, and replace him with some second rate dummy half playing reggies in Cronulla.

Robbie might not be every ones favourite person. From a Tiger Fan, he deserves as much respect for what he has done both on and off the field (including taking pay cuts to keep the youngsters, charity and volunteer work). A shame his name is rubbished both in the media and in this forum.

Could you enlighten me on the amount of pay that was cut from his earnings?

It was a pay cut at the time which was remunerated in his last contract.

Then it's not a pay cut. It's an agreement to defer payment.

Also until he gets it, it is a pay cut.
So they're going to pay him the interest that he's been losing on that money for thr last three years are they.

If you want to be so pathetic as to go down that path, I'm sure there's an argument with regards to tax on the other side. Like I said, it was an agreement not a cut.

Who was saying that this club doesn't do stupid things anymore.
Another one is/was chasing a nothing player like Daniel Mortimer.
Even if he was free, it'd be too expensive,or is he friendly with Mrs Gone and her partner as well.
The afternoon teas at Marinas must be exciting.

There have been plenty of pundits/experts/ex-players & coaches backing JT with his decision as well.

Also, Liddle is replacing Farah in FG in 2017\. The second rate dummy half from Cronulla would be playing reggies for us - we need to sign a replacement for that level, as both Farah and Cherrington are (apparently) leaving.

Dimitri, it's not media speculation.
Robbie lost me two years ago. The day he bolted straight from the game bypassing the sheds. He then took the week off training and turned up to the next game not wanting to play. All because of a media personality. That's a terrible reaction from a captain. He put himself before the team. Again, this year, he took a trip to the US two weeks before the season started. Stuff the team, I'm going on holiday. Comments by him about the coach in regards to his sacking again showed his lack of respect for his team mates.
So when a coach comes in that has no previous dealings with Farah wants to get rid of him, it sort of makes sense to me of what's happening.
That's my opinion, i accept it could be wrong and plenty don't agree with me but don't tell me my opinion is based on media speculation.

And Liddle has had the best part of 20 minutes to show that he can play first grade??
Sounds like someone else, Cherry or something like that, he was the forums favourite to ride to the stratosphere of Hookers last year , except that it took about 30 minutes to find that it's a big help if you can actually slow down a player , as he runs over the top of you, but we'l base another season on an untried Rookie.
But, no worries , we have Rankin. .
