@ghost said:If Taylor had "let" Robbie play like this we would have won more games.
ITS OBVIOUS!!!
Think about this.
Robbie Farah is an experienced player. As such he should know lots of different structures as well as 'his own game' IE his preferred way of playing.
Jason Taylor has been given the job of not only coaching two inexperienced halves to **play** to high percentage structures, but also to **lead** a team around the paddock. No mean feat.
I have no idea of the discussions that took place re this between Farah and Taylor. From my perspective they probably defined the role Farah would play to allow for the halves to take a stronger part in the leadership roles.
Your suggestion may be quite true, if Farah had continued to play and lead as he was accustomed to we may have won more games. But then, that may have come at the expense of the valuable experience the halves have gained.
Food for thought anyway.
