Wests Tigers have pulled out of Brad Takairangi's 3-year contract agreed to just last month. New coach Jason Taylor made the call.

I thought it was just negotiations at the moment, maybe he wanted to much..I don't know, obviously Taylor may not rate him..not sure…

At last a coach with the keys to the kitchen ….Naigama next I hope another waste of cap space .

I can only assume the agreement with a Takairangi a few weeks ago was conditional to the new coach signing off… Maybe a 28 day cooling off period...

Well we never heard officially we signed him in the first place so I doubt we'll hear officially we haven't…good enough for me...

Good on him. I'm glad he's had the balls to come in and say either yes or no straight away. If he's not in his plans for next season then there's no point having him on the books for the sake of it.

if this is true and taylor has pulled the plug, what it says is taylor has someone else in his sights, so watch this space.

I remember when it came out that it was signed.

The titans didn't want him to go, but couldn't match anywhere near what the tigers were offering.

So I wonder how much it was, obviously Taylor thinks the money can be better spent elsewhere.

Good call if this is the case. I suspect Taylor will be a bit more astute when it comes to purchasing players.

While I would have liked him, i'm glad Taylor looks to have come in and put his foot down in regards to what he wants and what he doesn't want. I doubt Potter would have done the same when he was appointed. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come with JT.

I do not think Taylors wants to be tied into a three year contract for basically a depth signing. 2015 might be just a suck it and see year for Taylor but I would imagine he will want a war chest and plenty of cap space to hit the market place for the 2016 season

I'm actually a little disappointed. We need a few of these guys at the club that can cover multiple positions because of our run with injuries each year. And this guy can do it better than alot of others.

Don't know what coin we offered him, but logically speaking it shouldn't have been too much out of the cap considering his limited first grade appearances.
