5 wins but even so if we’re making Campbelltown the future we are already failing for both men and women’s grades. Happy the women are playing finals but it ain’t due to Campbelltown.

I think some people are short sighted, we are talking about 2029 and beyond.
All this talk about current win percentages is way too simplistic.
I'm a Balmain man but the future is to engage with the Maracarthur community whilst building on the very strong pathways system we have at our feet.
If you can't see that, then thats half our problem. 🙄 I find it frustrating sometimes.

It only works IF we start turning our win record around though and given it’s already bad if they don’t turn it around the pathways, juniors and fans won’t want to be associated with us in the MacArthur region. I want it to succeed but I am sadly not confident.

I am not supporting AD , what he done was wrong , but here’s maybe what he was thinking ?????
We know for a fact his shoulder was gone but he wanted to keep playing , maybe he was against playing in the forwards where his shoulder would have to do much more work , but he would be able to get by at 1/2 back , and we all seen how many tackles he missed there , JUST a thought 😳
I understand this logic as most people transpose this to their everyday life and reason it be a sound argument and thought process.
Problem is … in the types of worlds like nrl and professional sports ,special forces … basically elite type places, this is considered to a heinous thing to do .
Namely , because there would be a line of guys who would rip their arm off and eat it , to be given even a brief look at the same opportunity .
So yes , he’s preserving his body , but simply if that’s the way he thinks and ultimately the way the team thinks , then we are going nowhere as a club . Because there’s other clubs willing to go to the next level . Which means doing stuff like that is simply the bare minimum . If you view it in the sphere that most other clubs have that as an expectation .
Not forgetting Luai continually being put on a pedestal, despite treating the club like a doormat.
Maybe it’s Benji who needed a reality check and one he needed?

Yep could be like that but he didn’t have to spit the dummy and refuse to play, and then turn up next week to play half. His actions didn’t help anyone, himself, the team or the club.
This was on top of previously refusing to play out of the halves under Kimmorley.
Unfortunately I think AD has an inflated view of his skills and abilities.
