Tim Johannssen #291

Porter seems to be growing in confidence. I like how fit he is, doesn't seem to get tired at all. Starting to see his sneaky offload now too.
he shot a few of them away last night night.Reuben n Tim both seem 2 have as does starting Finau - time on their hands(dont loose their thoughts in the commotion)

He looked like a comfortable first grader. Basically did what he does in NSW cup which is a good sign. There are players who can't make the step up, some that play exactly the same and then some who go even better in the NRL then they do in reserve grade. Tim looks like he will play the same every week no matter the grade.
Perfect so a reliable worker, just what we need.

He went well for his first crack , a big off season for him and a bench spot regular will, build this kid nicely
Would be a great lock or running back row , nice and tall , solid

Just Watched the Behind the Roar interview

Really like his Honesty, his attitude and I relate to his values.

Happy to see the Tigers sign him for an additional 2 years

Yeah, he's going to be hard to like huh?

Lighting striking....twice.
May have found ourselves another Simon Dwyer.

Keen to see how he progresses.
How good would that be.
I’m hoping after an NRL offseason we get a new prop like we’ve never had before, a complete bull on the field and stays what seems like a decent young bloke so far.
But yeah Dwyer wouldn’t be a bad role model.

He had no offseason. Only joined shield just before season started, tried to put on some of the KGs he lost when he retired, worked his way up through shield, Massey, Cup and then to NRL. Not sure that's ever been done before. Trained with the NRL squad once before playing first grade.

With a full offseason he will be a completely different player. He's got a great frame and attitude, and best of all we're not locked into anything long term or top 30. Great stuff, it's what clubs like Penrith and Storm do

I liked what I saw from Tim .. plenty of raw talent and energy .. he’s must keeper .. like someone else mention we could have found the next Simon Dwyer .. !!

Bulk him up over the off season .. and then a full preseason training schedule with the top grade and it will be interesting to see what we get .. !! Definitely a keeper .. !!

Was thinking maybe Tallyn and Kit played Ball, Flegg, Ressies and NRL last year....
Not many would be doing that I wouldn't think....
