Good interview and worth the listen..

For all the crap people gives Sheens he is one of the best in the game in bringing in kids to first grade.. He just knows how to handle it and if they can handle it. Credit where credit is due as he can pick a talent.

I think we have improved. This year was always going to be a work in progress, both on and off the field. While we haven’t been winning games which is ultimately what we are measured on, there are things that give me hope and parts of our game are critically better.

We are a halves pair and centre away from being a consistently competitive side.

Sheens rambles a lot. Usually I cannot stand old people who ramble but I can't stop listening to him talk.

TBF Brooks has been a lot better this year once all the new players settled down into a new team and style of play. Brooks is a 6 though and IMO sheens knows this and that's why he was chasing a top line 7.

Really interesting about Sheens mentioning he had the choice to sign Adam Blair or James Graham in 2012 for the 2013 season and his regret over the choice (he ended up getting sacked and never got to coach Blair anyway though).

If he said he never got to coach Blair he was wrong… maybe he’s older than he thinks.
Was Braith he signed and never got to coach….

I remember asking Leedsy why Sheens was letting Blair bludge out on the wing while sending young blokes in to defend in the middle for him…
