Tim Simona and Jesse Sue

Two players i thought were standouts last night, Simona looks to have regained his pace, that step on RTS was so good to see and also his chase that prevented the try but unfortunately they scored off the same set.

Sue was so dominant, i would be first to admit that i was not a fan of his previously but this year he has changed my mind, such a dominant runner of the ball and defence is magnificent.

Well done to both.

Milky I have felt the same way about Sue. He was great though wasn't he.

I basically expect Simona to do that every game. He is a weapon.

They are both very good players who should have very much improved seasons on last year. If they do we could be a rough chance for a spot in the 8.

Sue has taken his game to the next level with the added responsibility of being in the leadership group and now having several NRL seasons under his belt. Some of his runs yesterday were Taupau like with the added bonus of Sue having a far bigger motor than Taupau. If he can avoid injury in 2016 on yesterday's performance he is in for his best season yet!!

In broken ground, 1 on 1 Simona will make just about any player look ordinary, he's exceptional at beating players 1 on 1\. Sue ran with real venom, very pleasing to see and he should be aiming to make 100 metres in attack every game.

It's great to see Simona back himself instead of looking for the offload. I feel like last year he was just down on confidence and would often try and get rid of the ball instead of run for the line. At his best he's an absolute weapon.

Sue looked great yesterday. Not sure if he's put on size but he's running much harder and faster than last year. The real test will be how he goes towards the back end of the year when the body starts to show signs of wear and tear.

<<<<< A boy named Sue and Simona the Centre are in for massive years…

Both outstanding yesterday....

Sue is in for a really good year, just remember that he is only 23.

Both great yesterday.
Simona is such a beautiful, balanced runner. It looks effortless but he flies.
Sue just keeps getting better as he matures. He ran hard and was still full of running at the end of the game.

I agree PrattenPark. He is so good to watch.

Both great.

Sue ran on the back of some great Tim Grant PTB's, seems like he is a very good front foot player, very handy if one of your middle third players can really take advantage of a quick PTB.

We need to have Sue and Grants stints line up as well as possible. Ava rarely gets the quick PTB that would see Sue be able to take advantage.

Aloia and Ava can work together, both more good at contact players, less relient on the speed of the play the ball.

TIm Grant reminded me of a motivated Adam Blair - looking for quick play the balls, and we seemed to roll off his hitups quite effectively.

Simona proved to me he's still got it, and Sue lived up to his potential as a tough guy.

All very promising signs.

I thought Grant could be the key to turning things around for our forward pack when we signed him. He runs hard and direct, quick play the ball for the others to feed off. Also no slouch in defence either. Simona seems to finally shaken off his hamstring problems that seem to restrict him from hitting top gear last year. Sue is the power machine of the pack, just hope he cam maintain the rage

Our forward seems alot stronger all of a sudden with the inclusions of Josh Aloaia and Tim Grant. Add to that our normal forwards in Kyle Lovett,Sauaso Sue,Ava Seumanufagai,Aaron Woods,Jack Buchanan,Chris Lawence and Curtis sironen our pack looks bigger then last year( even thought we lost Taupau and Galloway).

sue looks like a player that has finished the apprenticeship and ready for new responsibility and leadership.
hopefully a new deal will be done soon.
