Well for what its worth Liverppool would not suit me - plenty of Wests Tigers supporters in the innerwest/ and Ryde/NthRyde area - however if it meant longterm stability I would accept it. I would expect any decision made would come after some indepth studies of the supporter base. If the current supporter base wont travel to Leichardt and or Campbelltown depending on where they are located - Liverpool dosnt really offer a better option - unless of course there is already a large supporter base there. Plus some fans just will not go to the games anywhere unless the team is successful, I think we need to focus on getting that right first.

I actually live ten minutes from ANZ and much the same to LO, but I am also a realist and you have to take the game to where the population live. Okay in recent times it has been a struggle to attract a decent crowd to both our traditional grounds, but the teams on field performance, the weather, the time slot and our opponents have all contributed to this. Give us a few more games like last Friday night and the job of drumming up a following will be much easier

Agree with all of that as long there is support for the Wests Tigers in the area. Sydney traffic is such that putting your base in an area where the fans are not, is a huge risk. No way breathing would I be able to get to Liverpool by kick off for Friday/Monday night games unless I took time off work. Not sure if it is similar for those travelling from Campbo. Do we risk alienating those fans in an effort to attract new ones? Really not sure. Understand why it is worth considering if for nothing else to have one home ground.

If they could get the necessary funding for a new stadium (whichever location is deemed most feasible) then I think a few seasons at ANZ would be best for the club til it's ready.

I could be way off, but maybe another reason for low crowds is that supporters might say "we'll go to the next game - it's at (CCS, Leichhardt, ANZ)…" and I think that instead of having half your supporter base have this choice of three grounds, playing solely at one eliminates this option.

I don't know Sydney but it sounds like Liverpool would be the ideal "middle ground" (great pun by the way!) and a single home there with no games at either Leichhardt or CSS is a progressive and astute move for the long term future of the club as well as solidifying Wests Tigers as its own entity.

It's well and truly time to cut the apron strings and hard decisions need to be made.

Taking a bit from both sides what about Hardtown Stadium as the name for the Liverpool complex.

What about Evolution Stadium? Within my lifetime Sydney will have 3 major commercial, business and government centres; Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Liverpool. Get used to it, mate.

What am i getting used to?

Thinking youve failed to see the Hardtown is a mix of the words Leichardt and Campbelltown.

a bit of a google search on spotless stadium,
http://www.sydneyshowground.com.au/venues/stadium.html
have never been to this ground, is home ground of GWS, i think. It holds around 25k seated, has all the appropriate amenities and is readily accessible by M4 & M4 / M7 link. Oval shaped field but does seem to be adequate to accomodate a regular size league field and allowing the crowd to be relatively close to the action.
has anyone been to liverpool CBD recently? it would be absolute bottom of my preferred options.
