Suuuurrrre.
It may seem minor, but why not just use our correct colours.
I mean, why not go from black & gold to black & red…..its no biggie.
Or black & white to red & white
Its just an entirely different clubs colours - thats all.
Funny how with such **minor oversight** all the time from the club, we NEVER seen an orange & white anything - do we??

But this is all on Wiki
The club's name and logo are a combination of the two partners. The uniform colours are a combination of the black and white of the Western Suburbs Magpies uniform and the black and orange from the Balmain Tigers uniform. The logo combines a modern "in your face" Tiger with a traditional Wests 'V' in the background. There is also a Magpie (taken from the Western Suburbs Logo) on both sleeves of the Jersey.

Wests Tigers
Club information
Full name Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Club
Colours Gold/Orange
Black
White
Founded 27 July 1999
Is that fine, or I need more information.

And if we did see an orange and white something, you'd all be on here jumping up and down that the black was neglected.
To me black was magpies, orange tigers, white well any number of teams use white in fact I would say when talking merchandise all teams use white it's hardly a unique color to our brand.
I personally dislike white and try to avoid it when purchasing items especially polo shirts.

@Cultured Bogan said:It's no secret that I'm a former Balmain fan. Here's what I think:
1\. WT must respect the entities that were essential in it's creation;
2\. Leave the Magpie alone. It's been there since day dot as a merger. Keep it on each sleeve and don't move it or change it's size anymore;
3\. Find an artful way to put the old Western Suburbs and Balmain Tigers logos on the back of the jersey and include the abbreviated name of each club;
4\. Put white on the non critical merchandise. It may seem insignificant, but it does bother some of our core base. These are the people that buy memberships, go to games and buy merchandise;
5\. Let's learn to respect WT as much as we did our previous incarnations. As much as Wests and Balmain contributed to our past, they are not the future. It will never be completely harmonious, but I trust that WT will always do what is necessary to maintain the survival of the club and do it's best to respect both Wests and Balmain.
It's pie in the sky stuff, but I would like to see WT eventually gravitate to the point where this could actually be feasible.

I think they have more important things of concern at the moment. Like covering the extra financial burden of the joint venture. Should they be demanding more? Yes imo.
@tigerbalm said:I think this thread proves its very easy to be critical of " trivial" matters when you have the lion share of logo, name and colors. I know we would see them same argument but with different sides if wests wore a black and white jersey with a small orange V, a magpie logo/mascot and a small tiger on the right arm. If ex-balmain folk can't see the importance of the pie to some people than this argument can never be settled.
