Time to throw some juniors in the deep

Not NRL deep but NSW Cup deep. It is time to put all our juniors that we will be needing really soon in NSW cup. I am talking about Mitchel Moses, Brendan Santi, Curtis Sironen and Kyle Lovett. Toughen them up a little bit and give them a taste of the big mans game before they debut.

For Cutis I mean debut in the Second Row.

I can see the benefit in this. The under 20's comp is poorly designed to bring up young players. Lets put a few of the boys in with the view to playing them towards the end of the year if they stand up.

I believe this is the plan with Brooks at the moment.

Only problem is what happens with the older players in that squad. You need to develop those players as well

Dont we have ENOUGH juniors already? Half the NRL team is juniors, and brooks is playing NSW Cup too.

Hardly need more this year, maybe towards the back end of the season. But we also have trial games next year, or that 9s tournament.

brooks's kicking game is enough to warrant him in nrl to be honest.

saw him yesterday v newtown and thought he's probably up to it. he didnt look out of place. its expected he might struggle a bit in nrl to begin with, but so be it. give him a crack.

nah, it's alright for now mtd. Braith is back this week, see how he goes first. If he messes up big time maybe throw him in over the bye week. But probably potter will give braith a few rounds with Benji and then think about giving brooks a shot in round 19 after our bye in 18\. Or perhaps before then, who knows.
