I sure do mate and feel your rage! Surely management wouldn't resort to Utai.. Get Daniella out on the wing, Beau, Brown… even the new kids, Tagive, Nayarvovo or Koroibete! not Utai!

He would be an unlikable Fitzy. Sheens surely can't be that stupid.
 
WOW easy on …the CLUB has many options Utai may or may not be one of them also I'm still holding out for a miracle and the Tank gets back..

The season hasn't even started yet...and Sheens is already in strife,,,just WOW as Gus would say.... :brick:

Then there is always Beau knows winger...so rumours are just that...CRAP

Yeah, but if it is in the pipeline, I think trying to voice the fans opinions is a good thing? Surely the forum doesn't go unnoticed by the club.

I did read somewhere else about Utai that we tried to poach him, but his payout figure was too high. So it's not the first time I've heard it, hence the reaction.

I said Sheens surely can't be that stupid. He hasn't been stupid yet. So I didn't really have a go at him. I think Sheens is a champion to be honest. The fact that him and Royce painted the gym themselves when they first came to concord shows how much heart he has in the club. He can stay as long as he likes as far as I'm concerned.

Good luck TUI! I hope you are right Geo and these are just rumors.
 
This Utai stuff could not be true, the club would have or should have learnt its lesson from the Moody come back a few years back (and the fireman was a way better footballer than the Bulldog bar fridge). As others have said "if" and when TNT calls it quits we have plenty of really good options on our books. Is the guy who went so well on debut last year who got injured (I think the Souths game) still on our books????

:laughing: come on. The Lote thread was probably 30 pages long before the club even mentioned him!! Riddle was talked about too. Half the time the first official announcement is when the bloke is already signed. Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of what I was saying?

Anywho, surely if Tui can at least run in a straight line, that's all he needs. The bloke is a wrecking ball.
 
As much as I want Tuiaki back and playing well, there is a massive question mark on whether any player can return to form after such a bad injury and long lay off.

If he is gone for good though, I want Sheens to stick with Beau.

Beau had some ordinary parts last year, but overall I thought he played quite well. And as much as we would like to believe that on field performance is all that matters, having Beau in the side will bring allot of attention to us through his media appearences and casual fans, so he is quite valuable to us.

Utai was another possible depth signing in 2010 (due to Folkesy's recommendation) - but that boat has well & truly sailed & he will be in thr CRL in 2011!!!

He was sposed to play with Young last year….dropped out at the last minute.

Still no news I see....whens the club back to business, shouldve been last week
 
A small but worrying snippet in today's Tele…

"The future looks bleak for former Tigers pin up boy Taniela Tuiaki. the giant winger is still unable to stretch out after badly breaking his leg in the 2009 season and appears at long odds to play for the Tigers this year."

Just a note to everyone the Wests Tigers will have Matt Utai on there roster for 2011 obviously a steve folkes signing. Just has to pass his medical and he will put pen to paper. The word is he's in because Taniella is no good. He just cant run.
