To be serious contenders rests on one position

We need to move moltzen from fullback…. He is a serious liability back there. We need to put Ryan there and reddy to the wing. I like Tim moltzen and he tries hard but IMO he is best served as a utility on the bench.

Come round 21 we should be as close to full strength as we can be minus lote and Tim is the weak link and biggest liability to a serious title run. Not his ability as a footballer just as reliable fullback.

Btw I think that bench last night is where we need to be the rest of the season we didn't get over run and that bench had alot to do with it

KG
woods
Fulton
Ellis
Blair

Bench
Heigno
BMM
Moors
Cashmere/reddy/humble

IMO is the perfect balance

Agreed Smokin he'd offer more in bursts from the bench not safe or confident enough at fullback at the moment.

Reddy should not get any where near that wing spot, quite happy for him to warm the bench incase of injury but with Ellis(hopefully) back next week and Blair i cant see a spot for him. As for Moltzen had one of his off night's, his consistency needs to improve but so does the whole team.Beau is our best winger he needs to stay on the wing but we need some more pace on the other side.

Moltzen leaders the team in line breaks, tries and last night yes he dropped one bomb but he also saved a miracle try and he also generally makes over 100 m at fullback. Also we look a lot more dangerous with him n the team

He doesn't make 100m at fullback. He makes 44m 51m 62m. To make over 100m you need to run the ball back from a kick return.

Tedesco played 30mins and ran for 87m in his debut game. Moltzen last night ran 44m in 80mins.
No more needs to be said. He is not a fullback.

Really like Ryan at fullback. Reminds of the great Andrew Leeds, safe as a bank

I've felt the same for a while, but one thing we have missed in the last few weeks is Beau's finishing… I think with Beau Ryan on the RIGHT wing we are a much more dangerous attacking team and always look to have points...

Keep Beau on the wing for mine!

I agree, Ryan is best on the wing. Versailte enough to cover anywhere in the backs.

For me Ryan is the safest player in the club. It makes sense you play your safest player at the back. Whats wrong with

1\. Ryan
2\. Utai
5\. Koroibete

Moltzen had "one of his off night's"?

Are you kidding. He had one of his "usual" nights.

Not a fullback's you know what. Get him out of there quick. Ryan to fullback and Grant to the wing.

i wouldn't move moltzen from FB.. i would've put humble to fullback when tedesco got injured but it's too late for that now… moltzen's defense at fullback is very good and saves us at least 2 tries a game imo, although he is a liability under the high ball and he lacks support play, which sadly no one at our club has.

as for the perfect balance in the team? imo where we lack balance is the 2nd row and bench
the perfect balance would be starting ellis, fulton and bell with bell tightening the ruck with woods, KG and farah
this allows blair and cash to be interchange props, with reddy/utai and bmm on the bench

this imo gives perfect balance where bell and our front row make sure we don't lose the ruck early on in the game
blair and bmm provide good impact and more importantly aggression off the bench
fulton and ellis' defense on the edges makes it easier to negate the defensive liabilities of ayshford and sometimes lawrence as well as fulton and ellis' hole hitting ability in the opposition 20

even lawrence maybe? the way he hit that ball from sirro is exactly the sort of hole running we need from FB..

nah not kidding at all, Moltzen was good at the end of last year and that was his first game back after two away always going to be a bit rusty.I love Beau but he's not a fullback he is a good winger thats why he takes the bombs so well his support play and positioning is not quite as good as Tim's so IMO leave Tim there. And as much as i would love to see Grant get a run it aint going to happen by the looks of it Simona is ahead of him at the moment.
