To make the finals

I just ran the rest of the season through a calculator and still had us finishing 9th.. no surprise there. I think the best we can hope for is 8th spot if we get our for and against right up there in positive territory. 6 wins from 8 games is a must to even be in the running but realistically we need to win 7 if we want to be there.

I did that and found out Mathematically we can still. Be minor premiers.

Dogs and Dragons winning definitely helped us… The 30pt loss for Manly was a bonus too...

Realistically... all the games from here on are must wins for us to be any chance really...... but a win against the Cows will hurt them and keep them in check cause they have a hard run home!!

Next week... if the Raiders upset the Panthers (not unrealistic) and the Sharks beat Manly.. We'll find ourselves equal 8th with the Panthers and Manly...

Should we then manage a win over Manly... i think there's a pretty strong chance we'll make the eight!! UP THE TIGERS

I think 7th and 8th are the only spots left up for grabs, with several teams gunning for them.

We need to string a few wins together, and fast.

I can't believe, despite losing 5 in a row, if that happens we will be equal 8th. Will we be 8th, 9th or 10th though?

We would need a massive win over somebody. Our F/A isn't looking good.

I think we could rack up decent scores against the Cowboys, Eels, Roosters and Sharks, provided the Tigers turn up to play and Robbie and Benji play well.

Momentum is everything. We should be to strong for NQ at LO but if we can beat the Raiders at bruce and beat the defending champs the week after it will do alot for our confidence. If we win those games i think we can do it.
It will be a miracle but

I remember going to a one-day match at North Sydney oval in the mid-90's (I think it was against Victoria but could be wrong). NSW were getting absolutely flogged so we decided to leave early. Didn't even bother to listen to any commentary on the radio on the drive home. Walked in the front door, sat down and turned on tv. What do I see? NSW get up to win about 2 minutes later.

Sport is a very funny thing. You never know what can happen. I won't be writing off the season until we are a mathematical impossibility!

Depends on the wins… if we win narrowly and both Manly and Penrith loose narrowly we are 10th...

Tigers are -22 while the Panthers are +5 and Sea Eagles are +3...

If we win by a 14 and either side loose by 14... we are 9th... both loose by 14 we are 8th

It's not soooo far fetched!

I love how some of you guys are so one eyed tigers!..

I actually hope we get the spoon, as if we make the 8 then we will continue on the same path as the last 4 years. But in saying that, i wouldnt complain if they try hard every week and put in 100% effort and made the finals.

anyhow atleast collis is gone, that is great news!

How can you want the wooden spoon? And collis leaving isn't great news. not terrible news either though.

I wish it was that easy Kaiser but the highest we can finish after this weekend is 10th we are on 16pts a win on sunday will put us on 18pts.Manly & Panthers are on 20

Stringing together a few wins instead of losses over the next few weeks and then see. Again it will probably depend of the wins and losses of other teams as well. Our For and Against could do with some big improvement as well.

The problem is that Robbie & Benji have both been inconsistent throughout the year and our forwards haven't been up to it with out Galloway being there.

Hope I'm wrong and a miracle happens but I have my doubts.

We can, but the players need to harden up and show that they are serious. All of our games are winnable. We need to show up.

We can and WILL make the semis. There, I said it. :sunglasses:
