I reckon Toddy believed he could do a better job than Potter … Given Potters results of the last two years he's got a point.

That might have been the case but there is a right way and a wrong way, and if time could be had again maybe it would be done differently, I make my assumptions on what I have read and heard and in the end witnessed.
Patience is a virtue ,but it did look like the Tigers WERE going to make the eight until that faithful day and it does seem some did not want this to happen.
