Top 8 Predictions for 2020

I gotta say, I’m so unsure about the Eels. It’s rocks or diamonds for them. They’ve got a good hard working pack but it’s not got a lot of tries in it, especially if Matterson is moping again which he appeared to be last week.

The finals this season and the top 8 are wide open the Coronavirus will see to that .. players and teams will be affected ... one player or support staff comes down with it and that club is screwed and no hope of making the finals !

I called us 9th last year which in hindsight is a pretty obvious choice. I think we will shock teams this year. The NRL is becoming a young mans game and I think our team is well balanced and deep. Only concerns I have are the 9 and lack of a high percentage goal kicker. If we could jag Harry Grant With Liddle coming back and Isaako we would be a top 6 team.

Longer term we have to move on from Reynolds, Packer, Mbye, McQueen, Lawrence and inject some more young quality players.
