How about we get the ground announcer to play the Tic Toc music Nathan Cleary was busted doing on social media to out him off his game....
Might improve yours odds.
Panthers will be tough but Rabbits dropped so much ball and Panthers did not put them away till late. Play like we have the past three weeks and its going to be close, be great to get away with this win and cement us in the 8.

It’s the NRL every week is tough.
Next few weeks we will get a good sense of where we are with the rest of the teams. Panthers, Souths, Broncos and Eels.

I want to see how we fair, who rises to the challenge and who doesn’t.

Knowing us we will hand Broncos there first win after multiple losses lul

Why is that funny...?

just a bit humorous that we have a tendency to be the Good guys and hand struggling teams a win.....

Packer could lead us as the bad guys?

A wins a win and I'll take it but the Dogs were horrible. The most positive thing out of tonight is that we didn't leak points.

Penrith will be alot tougher and will test our defense massively next week. Even though we have put a heap of points on over the past fortnight I'm still not convinced on our attack. At present I think we are attacking as well as can be expected with the quality of player we have. Where we can cement a spot in the 8 is with our defense. St George from memory in 2010 didn't score alot of points yet still won the comp because no team could break their line.

Against the better sides I can't see us scoring alot of tries so I think if we can keep out defense strong we can sneak into 7th-8th

Defence wins most games

Completion rates will be key for us. Penrith will make us pay for errors. With respect to the Dogs, their halves offered sweet bugger all last night and they simply could not capitalise on what favourable field position they did have. Penrith will look to exploit our right edge, we got away with it last night as the Dogs seemed gunshy to throw it wide (after the Nofo intercept try perhaps.)

Penrith have one of the best completion rates in the comp at the moment and that makes them very dangerous. Sharp number 9 too which we will really need to watch around the ruck as Penrith have plenty of big boys who will roll us if we're not careful. Can't say I'm confident we can beat them, but Madge really has to come up with a gameplan to nullify Cleary, so much of Penrith's structure relies on him.

Josh Reynolds will shut him down good and proper 5/10 times.
The other 5 times our new 'enforcer' Sam McIntyre will crush him.

Not sure how Josh will do it from the other side of the field. This is Brook’s challenge this week. Cleary’s always got the better of him in wins so we’ll see if he can rise to the challenge.

In saying that though. We did beat them in magic round in a game last year that can only rival the way we have been attacking this year. That past Cowboys game had shades of the Penrith game last year. And earlier in the year lost by a penalty goal I think.
But much different Penrith side, but we are different also.

Yep....you are 100% correct @Needaname.
So what will happen now is Brooks will be wrapped around Cleary's ankles as soon as he gets the ball and McIntyre will smash him over the top.
In fact it wont surprise me if Cleary gets pummeled to the extent that he goes into the sheds at 1/2 time and is too embarrassed and scared to go back on.

given everything that happened at the end of 2018, I find it extremely difficult seeing Penrith in the position they're currently in, with that spineless twit sitting up in the box. would love to get one over them on Saturday night. regardless though I think it'll be a cracker if we come to play.

The biggest concern will be how Talau and Nofoaluma handles the air raid coming their way

Brian To'o is a talent and has plenty of speed

Speed is only a problem if you get caught out of position or you are losing the ruck

Cleary's high kicking game is usually always good and it is our biggest weakness ...and the coach of the opposition knows that ......

We belted the side coming last, that’s what you’re supposed to do. My only concern next week is Kikau Crichton and Mansour against Garner Joey and Nofa, I’m hoping our right side can hold theirs. Were a shot at knocking them over if we do that

Chrichton struggles in defence when fatigued. He cost the Panthers the match vs Eels when Waqa Blake stood him up twice late in the match. Hopefully we can play smart and create some situations to isolate him vs BJ.
