@MAGPIES1963 i haven't been on the forum much lately, trying to stay away from all the bad news about the tigers. What's this about a trip?? Where you off to? Safe travels. If you make it near Sydney, let me know as it would be good to catch up.

I think you did the rite thing staying away from all the ebbs and flows being the Wests Tigers for a while now, but gee it's good to hear from you again.
Yep, setting off on a trip around the block as soon as I can with only me to keep myself company...so I dont know who's going to win all the arguments that me and myself will no doubt have.
I may even be in the rite frame of mind shortly to watch the footy videos you very kindly put on a stick for me a few months ago.
I only got around to watching the very 1st match.
Thanks for Your Kind Wishes and I will certainly get in to Sydney at some stage as I haven't looked around Sydney for about 15 years except for the quick trip my wife and I did to your place to drop off my videos.
Edit: I will of course have the Wests Tigers Forum to keep me company.

Ah, so you’re going around the block mate? I’m guessing this time of year, you’ll go clockwise? Am I right?

Believe it or not I haven't made any plans yet apart from 1st stop Casino so I can practice putting my pump up tent up-down, and personal reasons which may take a few weeks.
I heard on my local ABC radio this morning where the Menindee Lakes are at their best atm and I have never been there, so it could be clockwise [as you mentioned] via Menindee.
But I also really want to go to Tasmania.

G'day @jadtiger I'm amazed how many on here including yourself say how beautiful Tassie is. Some say it's a little bit like Ye Olde England, and I would love to see where all the Tulips are grown.
No wonder it's cold in Winter...next stop after Tassie is The South Pole and they reckon it gets pretty cold down there :grimacing: .
I heard on the news tonight where winds up to 170 kph had been recorded on the top of Mt Wellington, being the strongest wind gusts ever recorded there.
I'll have to make sure I dont pitch my tent there eh!

We made plans for our 2022 annual family get together with a 2 weeks road trip to Tassie. Now just hope it happens.
In throw of de booking this years November trip to Cairns & Port Douglas as with COVID restrictions it’s a no goer.

Stay away from Swansea 2281 ?

Absolutely nothing wrong with Swansea. Last week was just out of the ordinary Demps.

I always enjoy dropping into Caves Beach Hotel for a beer and a feed whenever that side of the lake.

Had a real bad experience at Swansea Maccas when I was 18 or 19 though. Me and a group of mates heading home to the Central Coast after a night on the sauce in town and stopped off to grab a feed. Large group of locals tried to roll us in the car park over a few smokes and the end result was a massive all in brawl. Everyone from both sides got pretty messed up incl myself but makes for a good yarn now.

We stayed at Caves Beach Hotel bungalows a couple of time ….. nice place.

On our intranet says they’re gonna trial the digital PP later this year for BF staff then open it all up Mar/Apr
