Not player power in my mind really..Hastings has already stated publicly that he wants to play under Madge long term.. POM indicated in his post Crichton is attracted to play under Madge..

I think players want clarity... flies in the face of no one wanting to play for him.. Koriosau and Papali'i both singed a year out knowing Maguire had 2 years to run..

Whilst we are not getting wins at the moment ..the playing group are certainly putting the effort in that suggest to me they are playing for the Coach..

Barrett getting the arse already has talk of Burton wanting out.. how that effects the decision of Kikau among others is yet to play out

I said to my mate before the season that signing Kikau and Mahoney may of had the effect of the players waiting till next year to be a force, I did expect them to at least show something but just not make the 8.

It sort of is but I'm okay with it. You shouldn't pander to the players especially when you are losing but I can see this group turning it around.

That is good to hear as it reinforces the idea of what Madge is trying to achieve with us.We want players who are prepared to buy into that future and not just chase the money like the dogs contingent who have crapped in their own kennel yet again this year.
Madge is building for a better future the dogs always take the "throw money everywhere for a quick fix" option and it does not work.The dogs will be having another fire sale this year and another panic buying session
