I think it is based off number because Joel Caine said on the radio the other day he was Wests Tigers player #1 as he was fullback in our first game.

But he does have a surname starting with a letter at the beginning of the alphabet!!!

Started as numberical, But they stuffed it for a couple years going alphabetically around 07-08 maybe.
But it's been back to numbers since they realised.
Crazy thing it seemed to be the Media Manager dishing out jersey numbers and it got confused.

He was better than TDS, but probably due to age and experience against men bigger than himself.

Hope is currently on a train & trial so not eligible to play until Round 11. Was thinking a way around this without sacrificing our last remaining spot in top 30 is to give him our 6th & final development contract which is currently being held for when Makasini turns 18 I believe.

Hope could take this contract until June 30 which would give the club ample time to look at either upgrading him to top 30 as a hooker/lock utility this year and/or longer. By June 30 others may have moved by...
